I'm a Laker fan till the end, despite everyone I know jumping on the got ass Clipper bandwagon I will always be a Laker fan. However, I just don't get why they have so much faith in Kobe returning to form.
Thread asks what we expect from Kobe next season and 90% of the responses are somewhere in the range of "60-72 games, 25/5/5" or "You know he's aiming for the 6th, well see what happens." Seriously, as a fan base, we are just too stupid this last few seasons to understand Kobe is shot. Kobe fans remind me of Tyson fans when he lost like 2-3 times in a row and they were still waiting for the old Mike to return.
When the F will we move on from the Kobestans?

I'm gonna be conservative like the other posters and say 31/8/6 while achieving the 50-40-90 stat in less than 30 minutes per game. Cause you know, hes only going into his 19th season off the cusp of two major injuries so he should be putting up prime numbers. Mark my words, I'll bump this thread when it happens again just like I said 2 years ago. Kobe might return and play 30 games tops, the team will miss the playoffs and then he'll sit out the rest of the season. I said this to my Laker friends before this season and they were swearing Kobe would dominate and lead this team at least to the first round.
He is done as an elite player but stop acting like that's all Lakers fans .Even if Kobe gives the occasional throw back game he can't stay healthy . .and why not call out fans on LG instead of here? Are you looking for validation? Support? Ok I agree.

I agree with the Laker faithful and Dale who expect 25-5-5 at 50%:
- 25 bricks
- 5 turnovers
- 5 death stares at teammates/coaches
- embarrassed on the defensive end in 50% of the opponent's possessions
