The loss isn't solely on K, but he was the best option to dominate the game when the clips were dialed in and not folding. I say it takes two year before KAwhi can make the offense run anywhere close to where zombie parker can now. That's no hate on K, but he was a defensive player and hsi offense is still iso and open shot heavy. I don't see K making great passes or looking for the hot hand. He either is feeling it or he's passing out. No real middle ground.
He's our best player based on overall talent but he's still imperfect as a team alpha and not a beta. The pippen tag started when Kawhi was considered to be a 2nd banana.
Kawhi's low plus and minus is probably more about the clippers starting unit being dominate then Kawhi really playing ty. This was a kawhi role playing day. Next year he's got to be role player no more than 1/3 of the time in oder to meet my expectations. Be nice if we had a true statpadder like LMA to take the pressure off K and let him stay in his zone.

The Spurs could have lost 0-4 in first round with Kawhi shooting 10%FG and still he'll sign a max contract nex season.

Kawhi really the bed. Honestly, at some point he was going to regress to the mean. Even when he was playing well, he relies too much on the midrange and 3-pt shot. When you rely too much on jumpers, you will struggle when they aren't falling. He had some post-ups and hopefully they keep going into him down on the block.
SMH...You are talking about the next season like you care about that after say..."I will be dancing a mighty sweet jig next year when "Max player" "Alpha" "pippen 2.0" can't carry this team"...

Kiwi had a great first couple games... they made adjustments, doubled him, and he's completely been shutted down.... sad to see he hasn't been able to get out of it

Kawhi missed a lot of bunnies and good looks tonight. It's not about Clips adjustments, sadly, Kawhi was in a deep shooting slump this game.
Like in those games of the rodeo trip that Spurs lost.
Better pray Kawhi can break out of his shooting slump next game because it's obvious this team can't win without him shooting poorly.
You're right, he had a ton of gimmies and shots he usually makes... I'm wondering if the adjustments are getting to him though
It's a very simple fix. Get to the basket, free throws, easy baskets. That's how you get going.
Kawhi choked when he had the chance to tie the game, plain and simple, that missed 3 point shot screwed us
