The heart and soul of the Miss. St. defense last year. 2 years ago he was just a mediocre pass-rusher....but this last year he really came on strong. I think he had about 10 sacks....forced a ton of fumbles. Guy never took a play off. Can't be blocked. Great leader....I can't say enough good things about the guy.
A lot of people here thought he was going Mid-Late 1st Round...For the Skins to pick him up in the 2nd Round...it's a ing steal.

Well they went LB instead. McKinney is solid. Since Cushing fell off they haven't had a head crusher against the run. No one will be able to run on that defense with McKinney, Watt and Wilfork waiting for the ball carrier.
I like McKinney....he's another reason the Miss. St. Defense was so tough last year. Can really stuff the run...and can occasionally get all the way to the QB. He really started off the year solid....but he started to piss me off at the end of the year. He was taking plays off...and would disappear for quarters at a time.
But, I don't like him going to the Texans. Not because he won't fit in....because I thought you guys had bigger needs. Thought since the Texans went CB in the first round...they would go WR with this pick.
Still though...that Texans D (on paper right now) is looking sick.

Picking a DE was obvious. I liked preston Smith and owa, but our D-line coach coached Mario Edwards in college. He must have been pounding the table for that pick
I would say that LB is every bit as big of a need as WR...arguably bigger. Houston has a s of Cushing past and a bunch of nobodies in the middle. I'm excited about the pick.
