He also lost the handle on a rebound and got swiped then committed a foul. That's where we lost the game.

Spurs go from champions last year, to a team that is clearly not a contender. Massive fall off from last year. Yet, we had a reasonable chance to advance beyond this round, if not for the tendency to choke under pressure. So, we end up with a championship bookended by a couple of pathetic chokes.

OP is right, instead of using the entire clock he tried a layup.
It was a 2 point game that came down to a shot with 1 second left, basically any sequence turning out different would have changed the game lol. Duncan fouling CP3, Kawhi missing those shots, Diaw's hand being 1 inch lower to block Crawford's layup, etc.
The other day was game 6 part deux, tonight we had game 7 part deux, Porker killed us with those dumb plays and lets not forget Kiwi either.

I have said it repeatedly. With a lead time is your enemy, especially when you are old. A shot clock violation beats an early brick all day long. Always.
That mishandled rebound is what killed us, we had them on the ropes
