No, you are the bipolar emo here. Next season when we get far again and Leonard kills it you will be making thread about him and calling him a top 10 player in the league.
How is calling Kawhi a top 10 player in the league being "bipolar?" He was playing like a top 10 player in the league and deserved that status. After game 6 and tonight, he deserves to be called out. A player of his caliber, one that outplayed Lebron James on the biggest stage, shouldn't be bending over for Matt Barnes.

Duncan let his champions down. Year after year.

Kobe didnt' let the Lakers down in '01, '02, nor in '10.
    5=5.

And it still stings like a .

    Enjoy the lottery

One thing is calling him out and another is saying that he isn't enough help for Duncan. If he has played the entire season as a top 10 player I would say that he's more than enough help, tbh. And ting on a 23 years old "for coming up short" in the playoffs is a bit much, specially after the last two post-season he has had. Everyone is allowed to have a sub-par playoffs performance every now and then. Duncan has had a couple of his own too, tbh.

Kind of mutually inclusive, isn't it?

This is beyond frustrating, because this should've been Kawhi's series. The Clippers have like the worst wing rotation in the league, and Kawhi under-performed in three straight games. I still think he's great player and top-15 in the league, but as of right now, he deserves the criticism. If he'd provided enough "help" (like just shoot 50%), the Spurs are advancing to the next round.

No, you can be a top 10 player and be great most of the time but coming up short from time to time. No need to start revisiting careers for a sub-par perfomance here and there.

Enrique being one of the biggest cancers in NBA history, Poop's rotations, and Green vanishing for the first six games of the series had a lot more to do with your loss than Kawhi, tbh. If Green had a couple more 2012 throwback games and Mills had played more minutes instead of Rique, we probably would have lost the series.

Who gives a who is the best player on his team, mid. Honestly. If Kobe had to do it being the 4th or 5th best player on the team and still won a le, I wouldn't give two s.

dont worry enrique thinks there is a game 8+, just like the 12/13 finals against the heat heading into 13/14 RS and finals...

if the spurs lowballed kawhi, he might as well take a 1yr deal and walk the following year....

why waste the prime of urs carrying dead weight

Point is a 19 season, 39 year old vet shouldn't be the best player on a contending team, and every time we Spurs fans expect someone else to take the reigns (Manu, Tony, or Kawhi), they the bed, leaving Duncan with the primary burden. Love Kawhi for last year's run. Awesome. But funny enough, Duncan still had the best overall numbers and impact during last year's playoffs. Kawhi had the breakout Finals performance and we all thought it was his time, his team, and he gets outplayed by Matt Barnes.

you get outplayed too if ur pg isnt passing you the ball, even though u got high numbers this series, is when u get those numbers in the duration of the game thats important really matters...

lol enrique not passing to anyone not name duncan or french, what a fkn turd

and we have to put up with this next 3 seasons with a declining pg...lol loyalty to selfish player, wtf did this team FO started to become like the lakers....

Very few here know what a bad era with their team actually looks like because they came aboard after the 1999 championship and haven't missed a playoffs since. Wait until those December - March games are races to the bottom instead of to the top, when the forum has threads about the D league hopefuls by the same D league guys who infest the trade threads. Wait until Jim Boylen is the head coach.

Kobe's 36 and hasn't played in a playoff game in 3 years. Duncan is 39 and still the best player on arguably the best team in the league. Kobe will never allow himself to be the 2nd option. He wouldn't even do that when he had a team full of HOFers.

, not many Spurfans younger than 50 know what being a bottom feeder is like. I remember the 96 season quite well when we tanked, but that season wasn't particularly painful because I knew we were getting a high draft pick to pair along with D-Rob next year, so the future was bright (and of course we landed the 4th GOAT). Other than that, the Spurs have always made the post-season over the last 3 decades, although the disappointments in the Robinson era were quite frustrating.

And as much as I'm annoyed with Kawhi being outplayed by Matt Barnes, I think he, along with Green, give us a solid wing core moving ahead. If we can snag LMA and Parker somehow rebounds, we can make another run.

kawhi was beasting till this game which bought him down to the norm
i still dunno how belli and patty didnt play large minutes this game,w hile enrique got more time
if this was really duncan or ginos last game, shouldve just allowed them to volume shoot out the game and series, instead pop relied on t he french gots to lead them to victory

how frustrating was enriques game today every time the spurs had the lead, dude had to remind everyone it was his team with his hero ball
how about diaw, trying to turn the clock back to 06 by force feeding him to score the team to a win...

i just woke up from afternoon nap, it still hurts fellas...

now if duncan or ginoboli is retiring, u will have to go into full rebuild mode that includes getting rid of the hemroid which is enrique, u dont keep that clown due to loyalty, the spurs already gave him loyalty contract doesnt mean u have to play that clown, just offload him to another team...
i wouldnt mind if this team heads into the lottery with kawhi, as long kawhi gets his touches to improve his game leading into the right direction is all that matters...
