For you soccer aficionados I have a question..

Where do you think Andres Escobar would rank up with the greats had he lived long enough to get where he should have?

As an outside spectator who knows about that sport, they sure made him look good in that 30 for 30 episode which remains my all time favorite from ESPN BTW.
is that the do entary about Pablo and brazil soccer in general? maybe not

The Two Escobars is about Columbia and how they were one of the top-5 national sides prior to the 94 World Cup. The truth is: the Yayo funded most of, if not all of, the soccer renaissance in Columbia. Only recently, have they begun to field a good team.

Really, top-5 in the whole series and that's hard to say since it has been the best sports do entary series of all-time. I would put Without Bias, the Hank Gathers one up there and the one about the Hawaiian surfer up there as well.

Just looked up who Messi was.... you're telling me this got is the greatest athlete of the 2000's?

If this is the best povertyball has to offer, than I'm sorry, but you can't argue against it being a "sport"

you don't need athleticism to be a crack soccer player ya dummy

that's what's great about the sport. even midgets can succeed.

that being said Messi is top 5 ever. But without a world cup he's not sniffing the #1 slot

World Cup is the NBA Finals. Not to mention how Messi would have probably missed qualifying once in his career, out of UEFA.

Don't forget how he rested himself for the WC by sandbagging his Barcelona season.

Are you somehow trying to imply Soccer players aren't athletes?

No, I'm saying comparatively to other sports they not in the same ballpark. I do agree they're athletes, but come on, they're not even in the same league as someone like LBJ.
