Ehh...
He's got to let him land. Thought it was a make up call anyways the following play when TD went to the free throw line.
It depends how far the Clippers get. If the Clippers win it all then the Spurs team may only need minor adjustments. But if the Clippers exit next round then major moves should be made to Spurs roster.

Exiting from the playoffs is undesirable, but there is a progession. Im not saying a second round out is ideal, but when given an option you would prefer to fight another day
TBH your team is in its prime so basically anything less than a le is failure which means your team will have another failed season with CP3-Griffin-Jordan trio. Pretty low standards you have to get high off a first round victory but then again your team celebrated like it was a life time achievement award so I shouldn't be surprised.
I'm assuming he will have several views on Monday.
Altho i do not tolerate Steven Smith so....
The Spurs have only themselves to blame
If they didnt screw up, the Clippers wouldn't have been in a position to win the series
So stop acting like vaginas

I agree with everything Skip Bayless tweeted, Duncan didn't foul CP3, he shot the ball and flopped. The ref sounding the buzzer why the Spurs were trying to run a play even worse. I do hate it when refs decide to play god and decide a teams future in the playoffs, but the Spurs should have had more of a cushion with a minute left. It's all crying over spilled milk at this point.
However, both games 6 and 7 were winnable and the Spurs blew it fair and square. Clips played them hard, play for play almost.
You could also say the Clips blew their home games, tbh. Sucks that such a call was made, tbh.
Somebody in here posted that Duncan said he did foul Floppy Puss and he was fine with the call.
Yall hear Duncan say that?
Link?
It was Barnes offensive rebound that killed the Spurs. It was that rebound that gave CP3 game winning shot.
The foul call was correct.

The thing is the score was tied so the spurs would have about 12 secs to win the game not 13 to try to make it even.
Why is nobody complaining about Barnes blatant foul on Kawhi on the final play. That would have put Kawhi in the position to make clutch free throws to...uh nevermind.
The missed rebound on that Hack-A-Jordan play was the game. Get that key rebound and there's no Clips 3 on that play and the Spurs win. Sound familiar?
Of course, a healthy Splitter would've changed the game, too. Not making excuses, just laying out the facts.
Not really bummed about it, though...after 5, I'm good for quite a while.![]()
So true! Rigged from the start! Cheaters are what the Clippers are! They couldn't win without the refs help all along! Rooting for Memphis or Atlanta!
Sometimes you're part of the narrative, sometimes your role in the narrative is to be removed from the narrative.
Spurs fans should just be happy they were a key character in the storyline for so long. Many teams won't ever get written like Spurs did. In fact, this valley for the Spurs could've been necessary to launch San Antonio's plot into new heights i.e. 2013 Finals had to happen to reach 2014 Finals storyline.
I was disappointed too, it's disrespectful to use TD, such a main character, to fall in the rise of one not as deserving like CP3. But LA needed a plot twist. The bread and butter Lakers have not been in the past few episodes and might take some time to rise again. LA is too important to the series to be unused for this long. Enter Clippers.
Success, especially getting past a team like the Spurs, is the best cure for bad PR. This departs the Sterling storyline and creates a new beginnings plot for the Clippers and LA. Little disrespect was actually meant from Silver to Duncan and the Spurs. Ever since he took over, his main agenda seems to be propping up the underdogs. Notice how all the teams left haven't won since 1998? My guess is Silver hated how the Stern era had the same 5 champs and wants to mix it up to make it more diverse and attract interest. It's good for business for these teams to refresh and differ, get some new names in contention.
Spurs might be getting written out, that's a possibility. But there are clues that they aren't imo. Kawhi's rise has been my biggest clue that the league has good use for their character's story still. Watch next year when we are back and the tale is about how TD is passing the torch to KL.
State Farm got to McCutchen. Got some Cliff Paul-Sebastian Curry spots in the can and need a Clippers v. Warriors series to make it work, obviously.
I agree with what you said but its still a tough pill to swallow to lose to a made squad like the Clippers that have a sense of en lement. This is the same team that claimed last year they were traumatized by the Sterling scandal and used it as an excuse to why they choked against OKC but we know in reality they knew Sterling was a bigot for a long time. Their stars about calls on every possession and their coach es about the refs after just about every loss.
