I think he's getting by on reputation alone, people make him out to be some monstrous unstoppable scorer, but if you don't fall for all his fakes and actually make him play basketball he's not that good at all. Even Cojo managed to lock him up when they played the Spurs because he played safe defense on him, not really gambling, just staying in front.

I noticed Harden loves to pick on bench players, once he draws a quick two fouls they sub in the bench player to defend him and he proceeds to go off, stat padding at it's finest. Then he has the audacity to beat his chest like he's some sort of MVP lmao.

I've never understood why players defending him bite on his ball fakes and reach in for the ball. Wesley Matthews was great at this last postseason, he literally just stayed in his defensive stance and let Harden do his dribbling bull without actually going anywhere.

When his dribble moves don't get a reaction from the defender he basically shoots long fadeaway 2pt shots which of course he is decent at, but not amazing or anything.

There was one play where he basically jumped into a back peddling defender to draw a foul. That type of drives me insane.

This got is a choker. And djohn calls him a carbon copy of Manu
Manu had Parker and Duncan...put those two next to Harden and I'm sure he would play just as well. I'm not even gonna mention the superior coaching...

    ?

    Not the point

Manu never relied on freethrows. Harden gets shut down if the whistles arent given to him

plus he shows up in the playoffs

Prime Manu absolutely s on that ref reliant scrub. Even old man Manu would do better with Dwert than Harden has.

Enrique was a hindrance, not a help. And in his prime, Manu was 1B to Duncan's 1A. His 2005 playoff run was incredible and certainly far better than anything Harden's ever done in the postseason ( shut down by JJ Re , torched by Junior).
