Great film for those who loved 90s bball. Good interviews with Miller, Starks, Riley, and you see how they played "no layups" lol

They would have dieded, huh? Whatever that means.

They missed way too many series, focusing exclusively on the mid-90's. They also could have talked about the 1999 and 2000 conference finals as well his amazing heroics against the New Jersey Nets in 2002 across the Hudson.

I assume you were born no earlier than 1996. The 90's were the NBA's golden age (the 80's were also good but just before my time). The NBA is better these days than around the turn of the century but no better than the 90's. Nobody could wait for the NBA-on-NBC to come on with the John Tesh theme music and see double or sometimes quadruple headers on Sundays and sometimes Saturdays.

The NBA is joke compared to back then.

The difference was Jordan. No one gave a about the NBA in 1994 or 1995.

Funny as watching those Indiana rednecks get upset when Pacers decided to draft Reggie over their local hero(who would go on to be a scrub in the NBA).

All the people who diss the 90's NBA in here are below the age of 28. I feel you have to be 28 are older to remember what the NBA was like during the 90's.

Definitely, watch the 25:55 mark and what 90s ball meant. "No one was allowed to come down the lane without paying the price." Pussy ass Lebron would retire in a week if the NBA was like that

Nice ad hominem attack. It doesn't matter how people view the Rockets les, the NBA was immensely popular in the 90's.

LeBron would be too busy laying people out on defense under the '90s thugball rules to retire

So popular the Finals were put in a small picture in picture while the OJ chase happened. Jordan was the only reason basketball was popular in the 90s.

Again, nice ad hominem. Knicks fans were so pissed, one of them called a pulled a Howard Stern inspired prank into ABC during the broadcast ("Bababooey to you all!)."

Either you were around back then to experience it or not. It wasn't just the product itself but the impact on pop culture as well.

Regardless, he's attacking the messenger rather than the argument. The NBA was more popular then as opposed to today. ALL of the multiple superstars had major endorsements and TV show appearances except for maybe Reggie Miller and a couple others like Stockton and Olajuwon. When Magic announced his retirement and infection (ahem), it made national news. They transcended the sport, especially Shaq and Jordan.

Stars were considered icons and pretty much never thugs, like Michael Irvin and half the Cowboys.

Though everybody had a fair shot on it, only the Rockets stepped into the breach. And thank Christ, without the Rockets I'd be knee deep in Suns Championship lore here---instead? I get to Lord it over 'em every chance I get. & daddy, I gets a lot of chances. And all they can do is shut their in' mouths, or, go tell someone on me.
