Repeat of last season when Dallas gave the Spurs all they wanted, then the Spurs ran through Portland like Forrest Gump.
Spurs just match up poorly against monkeyball. If they had got through Clippers they would cruise to championship #6 with ease, it was just one or two shots that tripped the Spurs of their 6th ring tbh.
That and an unbelievably bad call with 13 seconds to go in a game 7 that screwed us out of our final possession
I don't think so tbh. If Spurs actually had HCA they would've beaten the Clippers and probably anyone besides GSW. HCA is a powerful thing imo. The Clippers weren't actually the better team or THAT hard a matchup. They simply had HCA and won the most important games because of it (game 1 and game 7).
I guess when Pop sold his soul to the devil for a successful NBA coaching career, he forgot to read the fine print...no repeats.
