that's why plus minus is stupid tbh. allen was obviously the best defender last night. he had numerous steals with transition layups. gots upstairs trying to use plus minus to on kawhi when it's obviously a useless stat.
Did you watch the game? Tony allen was everywhere on defense and had some big moments that got the crowd fired up

It's pretty useless in one-game sample sizes, tbh, not sure why they even include it on the box score. Same goes for hockey. It's like the RBI (for hitters) or win/loss record (for pitchers) of the NBA and NHL.
Plus minus for individuals is stupid plus minus only good for line ups it can help tell which group s play best together otherwise it's worthless
it's good to find outliers. jeff green was a +23 with the second one like +14 and the other barely plus or negative. that's a massive outlier that obviously has a meaning.

meh, i don't think it's even debatable that i'm right tbh, i mean you can't adjust +- to the strength of the opponent, so it's unusable to make any serious change in the lineup
