I used to frequent another Spurs forum but moved to this one a few years ago because there were more engaging discussions. The past year or so, this forum has gone downhill dramatically after the loss of moderators. Every other thread created is bashing a Spurs player and it really does not make for an interesting site to go to anymore. I don't post that much but I appreciated people who did and did it well. And when I thought I could bring something to the table, I did.
How about everyone move to the "Other" Spurs forum with moderators and bring renewed life to that forum. The bad posters who have trashed this site will be filtered out.
Either that or bring back the moderators on this site to clean this place up again.

I agree, I want good discussion and info, not just randoms bashing the great players that have brought us great moments.

Good takes from old s in here recently so far:
1. Green is easily replaceable.
2. Green is a system player.
3. Baynes>Tiago.
4. Parker was the best player last year, he scored more points.

This place used to be more CNN seemingly objective down the middle, TimVP's post game threads, sizing up compe ion and talking about the old days. Now there is more of a Fox news vs MSNBC mentality. There are rival camps making endless threads hashing and rehashing the same points ad infinitum, trying to rally supporters and denigrate the opposing side. I admit like some trashy tv it was fun to watch and follow at first but now that it appears to be to root cause of 85% of the threads in here, and will infect and take over the other 15% that start out not on that road are quickly driven on to it. The original Real World say seasons 1-3 weren't that bad but now we have the cancer that is reality tv that owns many networks and is present in them all.
Did I expect more from TP after him sitting out euro ball this past offseason only to see him hobbled in the postseason again? Yep, but to start threads how he is the biggest playoff choke artist in history (4x champ and finals mvp) or a bigger team cancer than Rondo, a player exiled publicly from his team by the coach and fellow players is simply trolling for effect. There are many that never sniffed a chip and beside the Barry debacle what Spurs player or coach has said anything negative about TP? There are just as many crap KL threads tbh. I just wish there were more quality threads too. Maybe a Spurs war room for the rants, and a more objective forum, but I doubt the war room types would check their weapons at the door when entering the objective forum. New age internet where being a known ish stirrer outweighs being an intelligent poster that brings something to the masses. There are kernels of truth in some of those ish stirring posts but the screaming agenda keeps those not in a camp or in the opposing one from taking it seriously so what purpose does it serve?
