Police Recover Gun From Zimmerman, 2 Guns From Other Man

Police also released a 911 call in which the caller says the other man, Matthew Apperson, told him he was forced to fire his gun Monday at the former neighborhood watch leader on a busy street in the Orlando suburb of Lake Mary.
"A guy says he had to shoot a guy through the window and he wants the police to come," the man said on the call. "He had to shoot at somebody ... He said it was George Zimmerman."
Zimmerman suffered minor injuries from flying glass and debris.
It turns out, according to this AP article, that Zimmerman was stalking the other guy and had previously threatened to kill him. This time however, his victim was armed and fired back.

As much as I think Zimmerman is a ing idiot, your AP article jumped the gun and is completely wrong. Read all that's recently come out on Apperson. If there was ever a person to be deemed unfit to own a firearm, it would be him.

She's out on time served and I'm happy for her. A huge part of the responsibility of being a gun owner is knowing when it is legal to discharge a firearm according to your state's laws. She had already safely retreated and then returned, not legal for self defense no matter how much that guy deserved it.

Her attacker was continuing his attack, was present outside? house, was much more of a threat to her and kids than a unarmed black man running away from a cop.
And FL's extremely aggressive SYG law says the SYG shooter has no obligation to retreat, and only has to believe ( faith-based killing ) that the shooter is in danger, none of which seems to apply to black women in FL.
It's been a while but I think I remember her retreating and having the ability to leave safely (at that time) when she decided to go back inside. Am I correct?
