That list isn't right. Pulp Fiction and Schindler's List would be 2 and 3 for the 90s. Not to say that cantthinkofanything is helping with his clueless rambling
Michael Mann's Manhunter definitely has that 80's Miami Vice feel but yeah I liked it better than the remake.

No film ever made can top the intensity from the scene in Selena…When the crowd was crushing the stage and Selena found the courage to be calm & whisper Como La Flor…Slowly singing at normal volume as the crowd calmed down…
Rambling?!? Usual Suspects, Jackie Brown, Friday? Which one doesn't belong on a top 90s movie list? Good Will Hunting. Rounders. All up there.
Im 18 you wit. On the other hand you are a 30 year old virgin naruto lover![]()
Glen was terrific in this movie![]()
shawshank's my personal favorite. silence of the lambs is probably the best psychological thriller
lecter's line at the end tho... "i'm having an old friend for dinner"
Hard to top shawshank
Just a classic film...so many good scenes/quotes.
"It puts the lotion on the skin or else it gets the hose again"
"Would you me? I'd me."
Multiple Miggs telling Clarice that he can smell her c#nt.
Multiple Miggs slinging on her as she walks by
One of the best ever IMO..
The first appearance of doctor lecter. Jesus christ.
Manhunter is almost a perfect movie to me. Noonan was legitimately scary as tooth fairy, Cox was a funny Lecter, Farina was a bad-ass Jack Crawford, the soundtrack was catchy as , and the ending scene with "In a gadda da vida" makes my hard.
Hannibal was exactly what it was supposed to be, imo--a fun movie. It was never meant to be taken as this great film like SOTL...just delivered on the morbidly funny Lecterisms we all hoped it would.
You'd never see anyone try to Hannibal in the mouth. There's your answer.
Extremely tedious & insufferably pompous.
But, like "Lamb" "Shank" is also extremely pompous. He gets there and the convicts are hard & convicty. Well, until Robbins is accepted into their circle and then they're just a great bunch of fellows. It's on AMC chronically and I'm there every in' time twixt the commercials.
And I know it's a movie but a sewer line doesn't magically change to a storm drain.
It IS on amc all the time, huh. But all those flaws aside, you can't help it and end up spending the next couple of hours on it
Yep. We own the DVD and have never put it in. But will always leave it on if we catch it while channel surfing.
Exactly. It's all cut to on AMC, but, there I am marking & commenting on the missing pieces.
I don't know. Since we moved, we haven't even hooked up the DVD player. Mostly because we mounted the TV over the mantle and our cords don't reach. But we have carried on like we don't have a care in the world. We moved almost a year ago and yet we gave our child a Guardians of the Galaxy DVD for Christmas. In retrospect, it seems cruel. But she will grow up knowing what it means to have and yet to want more at the same time. Water water everywhere and not a drop to drink.
