    Gasol on the Spurs would be trouble for the rest of the league tbh. Once again people just love to hate on this board...everybody would change their tune if he actually came lol

    Honestly though...why wouldn't he? Memphis has hit a ceiling and while it's his "home" he ain't winning a le there. If winning a le was his main priority Spurs should be top choice. Green, Leonard, Gasol and Duncan??? That's by far best defensive team in the league and honestly we will improve offensively too because he fits perfectly on offense. Duncan probably signs 2 year deal and could be looking to get "7"

    In the past the $ wasn't there to sign FA..they'd have to sacrifice $ in order to win..and players always take the $. It's different this time..it's more about if the Spurs really want you or not

    Memphis is a poorly put together team. They rely on Tony Allen for defence but he kills them on offence, we all saw that when we swept Memphis in 2013.

    Allen is a great defender, but you can't win in the playoffs relying on him. His weaknesses are too glaring to not be exposed in the postseason, and it really hurts players like Gasol down low.

    Marc Gasol takes the worst shots. They're usually hooks from the top of the key. No thanks. Though it is intriguing to think we could have two of the last three DPOY on the same team, our offense would suffer greatly. As someone that likes watching fluid, motion offense, I'd stay completely away from him and go 100% after LA.

    You don't understand basketball...Gasol would replace Splitter. How does that not improve us on offense?
