The Spurs got beaten by the better team this year, I'm fine with it.
The Clippers were hardly the better team. Parker and Splitter were playing injured, yet it took a miracle Chris Paul bank shot in Game 7 for them to beat us.

When healthy, the Spurs were the 2nd best team in the NBA last season, and the only team better than them (Golden State), they match up well with. So it's unfair watching inferior teams like Washington and Atlanta still in the playoffs just because they play in a difference conference, while a team like the Spurs would likely be in the WCF right now if Marc Gasol didn't bank in that 3 against us in the regular season.

Spurs had a ton of opportunities, and were unable to capitalize. In the end, they got beat by the better team. That's sports.

We'll it took a couple miracle plays for the spurs to win two games, in the series...so..? The clippers were the better team, all things considered (injuries and such)..

We had multiple shots at it and screwed it up. Nothing unfair about that.

No way are the Clippers a better team than the Spurs. Maybe they were in that 7-game series. But the Spurs were not playing nearly to their optimum standards. If Splitter hadn't suffered that calf strain, the Spurs would likely had taken the #2 seed and beaten the Clippers in the WCSF in 5.

, if Tim Duncan hadn't been called for that bogus foul on Chris Paul towards the end of Game 7, the Spurs would probably have gone on to win that series--even with an injured Parker / Splitter and no homecourt advantage.

If all 7 games of that series were played on a neutral court, even with an injured Parker / Splitter, the Spurs probably still would've won. Even though the Clippers won the series in 7, the Spurs still outscored the Clippers for the total series.

The Spurs are the better team.

What's unfair isn't that we lost to the Clippers. What's unfair is that there are teams that are far worse than the Spurs that are still in the playoffs, while the Spurs are not.

What a bunch of crybaby bull . The Clippers were easily the better team in Games 1, 4 and 6. The Spurs came a lucky turnover by Blake from dropping Game 2 and a re goaltend from Jordan from losing Game 5, and then got beat by Chris Paul on one leg in Game 7. This bull about the Spurs' injuries is just whining when Chris Paul missed two games because of the injury he had and played through in Game 7.

Well the East/West discrepancy and the antiquated seeding system did put the Clips vs the Spurs in the first round. That being said, we had our chance and we blew it. The last 14 seconds of game 7 were very questionable from point of view, but CP3 made an amazing shot.

It's still weird to see the playoffs without the Spurs in them. Atlanta is a terrible 1 seed. It's obvious the ing Cavs are going to the Finals. Yay, James in the le games again. How god damn quaint.

Spurs, Clips, Warriors and Grizzlies could have beaten the Cavs this year.

In Game 2 I think DG played some really good defense on Blake. He didn't have to turn the ball over but DG's defense aided that.

Tony Parker basically played like he was dead in this series and still was the 4th leading scorer on the team, lol.
