Rofl you didn't watch last nights game.
Rofl you watched it but still don't comprehend.
Rofl you think losing in R1 after being up 3-2 is better then going into the 3rd Round.

Pop had zero reason to pull Mills. Just Pop this season, tbh.
can not dribble up the court
he did go with mills last 3 minutes of a game then had to put tp in because mills could not do it down the stretch

if mills could dribble it would be different

That was one bold move by KM. It was certainly the right move in hindsight and one that a coach rarely makes due to other factors (like Pop with TP). KM showed a lot of guts there and it paid off. Pop didn't have it in him, nor would most other coaches.

I don't really know how gutsy it was on a scale of 1-10 with Harden being sick with the flu and clearly showing he didn't have it going

    I give it a 5

That's stupid. That would be like saying how gutys would it be for Pop to take TP out with 6 games of evidence he didn't have it going and every advanced state pointing to Mills being better than Parker that series?

    It's incredibly gutsy.

Cory must have rejected Pops advances because clearly TP didn't have it going on. If it were injuries or something yeah but why not bench him and use your bench to help. It's not always an easy decision to make but for pop it should have been far easier since he really has nothing to lose, he could have just blamed Joseph or whoever like he always does.

Pop just isn't that gutsy. He likes to play the percentages.

Pop threw that series on purpose. Prove me otherwise.

That was smiling, talking about vacation, and sending his players to get drunk and party after it ended.
    Word

It's just the black hole of coaching. So many factors (relationship, healthy, match ups, trust, etc..), but at the end of the day, it's a move that took some serious guts (IMO) with what you feel could have been his coaching job on the line. Most other coaches have proven they don't have it in them to try that strategy.

We all know Pop coached like , seemed to do the on purpose. And rarely looked like cared saying vacation in no terrible either. But the question is why? Is he in with the nba who seem to be set on LeBron bringing a ring to Cleveland?

Yup...looks that way...the Spurs were, realistically, the only thing standing between the Cavs and their first NBA Championship. King gonna ring.

That's what happens when your job is never on the line. Pop can basically mail it in till he retires. Coaches who are more desperate coach more desperately.

Lol what you're missig here is that McHale had nothing to lose.

It worked because Smith hit a few threes, Brewer got hot, and the Clippers went ice cold.

That's McHales ass on a silver platter if it goes sideways.

It's not just popovich taking parker out when he's playing bad, but ALL ING SEASON when the starters aren't getting the job done, the bench comes in to save their ass and then he sits them right back down. If those guys are hot, let them stay out there. he's always done this. He done it this year in the playoffs. The bench will come in, get a big lead, doc rivers will call a time out, then he puts danny green and parker right back out there stinking it up. Danny Green may get his contract in the off season. The best way to get a contract from the spurs is to play like in the playoffs. (see ginobli, splitter 2013, parker 2014)
