Men aren't supposed to drink milk anyhow. That's why the body becomes lactose intolerant so some of you momma's boys will get off the teat by age 10.
Never really craved milk, even as a kid. Sure I would eat the occasional bowl of cereal, but not at the rate most kids do.

Now, I'll have a chocolate milk maybe once a year, or a bowl of cereal once every six months.

But I would never touch soy, or almond.

I made my own for awhile. Good stuff, but a pain in the ass.
    Noticeable difference?

I used almond in coffee for a while.
    Coconut too.

It's thick like whole milk (because I dropped enough almonds to make it that way). It tasted different because it wasn't sweetened, though tbh I usually added a half cup of sugar per half gallon batch. If I could just spend a day making a ton then drinking it, that would be fine but you have to drink it in about 5 days.

I eat almonds and drink bottled water. That's close enough for me.

Who cares? I don't like dairy. Even if it is devoid of the protein, it's still a low calorie, non-dairy option with some vitamins added in. Not like it's unhealthy. If people pay a little more (which it's like $3, not a lot of money) to cut calories and get some vitamins, I don't see the big deal.
if that's the case then why not just drink some water and take a multivitamin and save some money instead of blowing money on an overpriced drink that taste slimy as diareah

^^ Yep..I take the multi, regardless, essential for me in every way, but nothing beats water, although I don't drink nearly enough, consistently..for the amount of protein my body intakes in a day, I should probably be drinking twice the amount of water I actually drink, unfortunately..

As for almond milk, I don't really understand the hype, tbh..my girl drinks it as an alternative because she's a vegan, but I'm still on the skim milk, can't with it IMO..
