Oh yes you can. They'll still lose in the next round, he'll still never win a championship, and he'll still ultimately have a disappointing career. Well, not disappointing to me because I always knew he was a talentless overrated , but disappointing for people who expected him to be great. those people
Disappointing how? He has a Finals appearance when the East was actually pretty good(although KG got hurt that year, to be fair), all-NBA teams, several DPOYs, etc..maybe disappointing if you're comparing him to Shaq or Olajuwon, but there isn't much of a difference between Alonzo Mourning and Dwight, for instance, and I don't think anybody considers Zo's career to be disappointing..

I've never been a fan, but he looks miles better than he did two seasons ago... you can pin that to a better situation or a team that actually cares about him, whatever... but it's undeniable he looks a lot closer to Orlando Dwight now...

How could Kirby barely squeak into the playoffs with MVPau, Dwert, Nashty, and that $118m payroll?

binHarden is a playoff choker, yet he and Dwert and a bunch of scrubs are in the Conference Finals.

Huge hit to Kirby's "legacy" with the Rockets winning this series. If Howard ends up in the Finals, zomg

Pretty amazed at his turnaround. For once I found myself in total agreement with Kobe on his criticisms of Watermelon Head. But Howard proved both the Mamba and I wrong. Made us look the fool. I relent here, as Kobe should through twitter or a public statement.
It's a premature relent, Midst. He ain't finished it. Not by a jugful. It won't start for another fortnight. If How is still upright then,,,then it starts. If it ends and How's cherry is broke then may relent. , we'll get naked and relent together. I love a good nude relenting. I've relented nude with Girl many times.

GD, it will be a trial. And it's difficult to dislike Rocket Fan here. They're a geneous bunch whom I've grown to feel good for. The old gang: sooky, dj, ind, little cal, even mortal enemies like RedZero & Double A have softened and become likeable.

How just touched me...and the moment that cemented it? When we got beat flat and Duncan disrespected him along press row. That was it. I just connected with How there. It's never been the same since that day.

    How

    Tim Duncan

I told you prior to that series that Howard wasn't ready for Tim Duncan. This ain't like steamrolliing that Varejeo in the East. This was Tim in' Duncan, and Howard was gonna find out the hard way.

But you didn't heed. You didn't heed.

No, one has to finish it next month. This? This is a means to the end. The end? Around about June 15th.

We'll take a ganders at How's cherry then, about June 15th. If it's broken, then, THEN, then.

Yep, that did it for me. And you'd think that Duncan would have some empathy for a niqqer there. This was after Amy had served him, right? But, no, look at him, devilish grin, kickin' a man when he's down in the .

He was supposed to be an all time great center. He's not. He's little more than a Deandre Jordan type player, a shot-blocker monkeyballer. Some people thought he was the next Tim Duncan, and he's still inferior to a 39-yo Duncan. You're gonna tell me that's not disappointing?

He's levels better than DeAndre Jordan, and he was one of the best defensive players in league history in his prime, tbh..he's not an all-time great C, but I never expected him to be, and I don't know why anybody did..people expected him to be Shaq, for some reason, despite being significantly smaller than him..

Made the right career move to go play with the best SG in the league, despite all the begging and leaving money on the table...

He's now back in a Conference Finals, looking good out there. I still think he has costly mental lapses here or there, but you can't argue how he turned his career around, tbh...
This year, but 1st and 2nd round exits aren't what he's had in mind. He's probably doomed to miss the Finals yet again, but we'll see. He does have mental issues. You can read his thoughts on his face and in his demeanor, totally lacks self discipline and control. Still doesn't get it that it's a business, not a pickup game in front of girlfriends.

Howard has been the best Rockets player this entire playoffs. He has had just one bad game.

Absolutely true tbh, the first couple of games were exactly that. I'm glad they woke the up and Brewer and Co. came up big in our 6. And thanks btw, first time in a long ass time the Rockets have played their part in pushing the Texas Triangle to the CF. Mavs/Spurs have always done their part.
It feels good. First time in my life that I can actually see and remember the Rockets being in the conference finals. I was six the last time they were there. Pathetic, but we finally made it.

A couple of seasons ago peeps were wondering if his back injury was serious enough to derail his career... he was just playing at a poor level. I don't know if it's him or the Rockets staff, but they've managed to get him to play at a high level again.

I don't disagree about his mental issues, I pointed it out in the OP. It's just a lot easier to hide them when he's dominating out there.

Dwight is close to that tech suspension though. Needs just two more. Hopefully he doesn't let Bogut get to him.
