Spurs choked and the Clippers choked.
Damn, he is like Green on offense, feast or famine. Looked worthless for a couple of years on Houston and Washington, and now he's killing .
Spurs choked and the Clippers choked.
Yea, gotta go all in for the #1 pick.
Props to the rockets, only a heart of a rockets franchise could pull such a comeback and mchale is a great basketball mind, with the momentum they have it's 50-50 between them and warriors to go out of the west...
Yeah...because Kawhi didn't have any good game against Barnes in the series...
Ariza 16.7ppg 45%FG 6.9reb
Kawhi 20.3ppg 47%FG 7.4reb
More points, better shooting, more rebounds...but...but...he didn't have any good game![]()
Couldn't agree more. Amazing performance in only 20 minutes.
I've coveted Ariza since his Laker days when he was crucial in making series winning plays, on defense and hitting clutch shots. Would to have loved having him and Brewer on this Spurs squad. I had no idea Prigioni almost averaged as many steals as Kawhi.......
Yea but....Kawhi is supposed to be a different tier of player than Ariza.... And Whi faded when we Spurs needed him the most.
He was a uva player on the Lakers championship teams a few years back. It's good to see him on a high level team again.
Game 1 vs Golden State:
20pts, 3rebs, 2ast, 2stl, 7/10FG, 4 treys
His trading value is only rising![]()
Ilol knee jerking to one game.
Easier to fade when you have a scoring first pg who continued to dominate the ball even when he was playing poorly. Doesn't help when your backup is also a scorer first. Instead of letting the game come to kawai , he was forced to make things happen.
I wanted Trevor Ariza before the Lakers got him. I thought he would have been a very good prospect for the Spurs to get to take over the Bruce Bowen role. Back then people said he couldn't shoot and the Spurs wouldn't interested. I think they made a mistake. He's worked very hard at improving his shooting and overall game since then. I also thought it was a stupid move of the Lakers to let him go. He made big game/series winning plays in the playoffs for them.

Agreed, 42% from deep in the playoffs isn't that bad for someone who can't shoot. He was huge for Houston defensively this year with Dwight being down the whole year as well.
