All he had to do was obey his coach:::"Don't leave Horry for a second, Chris." What the did Webber do? Turned his back on Horry and started up the lane. The result:::

    Oops, I was masturbating.

That in' Walker at the end. That SOB!!! And the shot clock, tenths enabled and racing down in the top of the frame. It never grows old. Those mother ers thought they had us. We had them. And those two assholes with their laundry on their heads,,,they didn't want it no more. They were done, put the sales sign out front shortly thereafter.

The Kings had one chance after another to salt away that series even with Game 6, and they blew it. They only have themselves to blame. The officials didn't make them blow a 24-point lead in Game 4 or choke away Game 7 in their own building. I loved watching that team and I sympathize with their fans, but the Kings had their chance and pissed it away.

Apparently they tried to do it, but ESPN/NBA wouldn't allow the footage to be released IIRC..

Though it was Strom who broke the home court logjam on 9 June 1985 when he whistled McHale for his 6th and final foul.

The "they had their chance in game 7" take doesn't make much sense. There is no game 7 if game 6 travesty didn't happen.

this is off topic but does anyone remember 2003 Lakers series, Horry shot a 3 at the buzzer that went into the rim and popped out.
Think it was game 2 or 3.
if he makes that shot, Lakers control the series.

Tl dr, Horry was a bad mother er

The "they had their chance in game 7" take doesn't make much sense. There is no game 7 if game 6 travesty didn't happen.
And there is no Game 6 if the Kings don't gag away a 24-point lead in Game 4. That series should have been over in five games.

I honestly don't see what's so exceptional about Game 6. Yeah, the Lakers shot a pretty ridiculous number of free throws in that fourth quarter, but it certainly wasn't the first time the officiating leaned heavily one way in an NBA postseason game. It happens. IMO, the only reason people are still talking about Game 6 is because the Kings lost Game 7. If they'd won Game 7- which they should've- Game 6 would be a barely remembered footnote.

02 was the worst raping in the history of the NBA, by far. Clearly JoeTait75 didn't watch the series. It was literally unreal what happened from start to finish....

Yeah, that music really drives it home. I'm not sure we can even consider the Lakers 2002 NBA champions. It must simply and always remain a vacated championship. What a travesty.

While this is true, game six (regardless of the implications) was an embarrassment to the league.
