This is wonderful news...however Chicago isn't going to let him walk to the Lakers...they will have to wait one more year and if Butler is smart he will only accept the qualifying offer and wait until next year to maxmize his earning power if he really wants to leave Chicago....if he's smart he'll realize a team relying on Kobe is better than a team relying on Rose and Gasol...even their names sound weak...

The Bulls have the tiest fanbase in the NBA, as I've been saying for years, and most of them are still in denial about Rose holding their franchise hostage, tbh..they blame everybody else, whether it's Thibs, Noah, etc, as long as it isn't their precious Rose..

I ain't part of their fanbase and the blame does rest primarily there, yes. Noah is the poster boy for symbolism over substance, and Thibs sold Rose out during his injuries, not once, but, twice. A team relying on broken down Kobe at this point is ed too, he cant make a full season anymore and shoots 38% when he plays. Get him after Kobe retires next year.
