    They have to tank with Kobe on the roster for 1 more year, Scott is perfect for the job..they'll move their next pick and ultimately sign Westbrook and another FA IMO..Westbrook + another max guy + Towns or Okafor, and then they'll fire Scott for an NBA-caliber coach..

    The big decision will be what they're going to do once Kobe's contract ends..if he doesn't retire, they'll have to let him leave, but would the Lakers fanbase accept it?

    Agreed tbh, league is always a little more entertaining when the Lakers are relevant.

    Unfortunately, they have one of the worst front offices + developmental programs in the league so I'm not sure if they'll be relevant this decade

    I have no issue with him celebrating ... but if thank was always the goal why did they screw around the way they did?
