I would say no. He had a great year, nothing to be upset about Spur fans.

He was absolutely better than Butler. Again, Butler wasn't that great this season defensively. All the numbers agree, and he himself as said as much:

You don't need awards to define a great player, tbh..impact can be analyzed in a number of ways..all-NBA teams have always been a joke, especially on the defensive end, just look at how many Kobe has been selected to..

Look at the names on that list:

- Westbrook..I'm his biggest fan on ST, but he was absolutely horrendous on defense this year, one of the worst in the league IMO..he received a ridiculous 35 points
- Lebron hasn't been a good defensive player since 2012-2013(when he was elite), but still receiving the rep votes
- Pau Gasol, one of the worst defensive bigs in the entire league, receiving 3 points
- Manu, Z-Bo and Wade receiving votes

The actual all-NBA teams aren't as egregious, but Jimmy Butler was an average defender, at best, this year..Jordan and Davis aren't surprising, as they are both severely overrated due to blocked shots, making it understandable..

I'm not knocking the accomplishment for both Kawhi and Duncan, they're clearly both very deserving, I'm just saying, I can't believe that the selection process is still so embarrassing..

I guess Gobert didn't make it due to games/minutes played, but he's significantly better than Jordan defensively, tbh..

It's also amazing how the Clippers finished with a defense that ranked below average, despite having 2 all-NBA 1st team defenders
