Wrong.
Fish were some of the first vertebrates. All land animals, including us, evolved from them, yes.
A larger picture of how we branched out, including how long ago is here:

A greatly simplified and narrow version of the phylogenic tree can be seen here:

Wrong.
Right.

Be happy to explain the difference, if you wish.

No, they don't. Word mean different things to different people. The scientific usage of the word "evolution" would not include the maturation of an individual within a species.

So all those times I've read.....
he Theory of Evolution
It is important to understand what the theory of evolution says about the origin of man since so many people believe this theory. Evolution is commonly taught in public schools and in colleges, and is strongly promoted by the media.
Evolution teaches that man has gradually evolved from lower animals (such as apelike creatures) in a slowly changing process that has taken millions of years. Thus, the evolutionists would say that man is nothing more than a highly intelligent animal. They teach that man is very similar to the gorilla, except that man is smarter!
Creationists don't tend to understand the theory of evolution either.
Most of the time it is simply ignorance, but they do get caught in outright lies quite often.
If someone lies to you about something, should you trust what they say about it?
I'm not talking about evolution I'm talking about evolving. A young thug....evolves...into a fine young man. Their terrible marriage....evolved...into a happy one.
Getting it?
So everyone is ignorant, stupid, they lie, and you have the real answers, hahahahaha!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Dude, you!
I'm not letting this go. It is important.
Do you agree that offspring inherit traits from their parents?
Yes or no, very easy, and not a trick of any sort. Merely trying to get to points of agreement, so we can build on it.
Not really an answer to my question either. If someone lies to you about something, should you trust what they say about it?
I would stop extending trust to people who lie to me about something, especially when I can determine the truth for myself, just as you can.
I found out that creationist claims about evolution were lies, many of them quite deliberate, a decade ago, when I first started subjecting arguments from both sides to an honest skepticism.
You do not have to accept anything I say as true. Merely go and find out the truth, see the evidence for both sides, and determine the truth for yourself.
You have not, for whatever reason. Someday you might, who knows. Until then I will simply keep plugging away, as honestly, and plainly as I can.
What difference does it make? Try, none!
Well, to people like you who don't care what is true or false, it isn't.
There are plenty of people that do care, however.
Do you agree that offspring inherit traits from their parents?
Yes or no. 4th time.
inb4 he posts youtubes of blues music
Do you agree we al know that they do so why a stupid question like that?
Trust me little fella, I can take your little ass to school on a mul ude of topics.
sure as long as its not in the field of academia
Just.....
literature
music
boxing
football
track
general knowledge
i dont care about boxing and track and i admittedly, not much for literature either.
you know more old-time NFLers and music artists than i do. congratulations.
Try talking biology with people, zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.
I also know about HS/NCAA footballers and JC. Wanna talk Jackson State?
yeah i'm sure jackson state football chat is just ing invigorating
Walter Payton, Lem Barney, Harold Jackson,Jimmy Smith, if ya knew football yep...invigorating.
My thing is this.....
In my life experience I've noticed those with some God in their life are happier and better adjusted to things than those who take this.....bah humbug....approach all wrapped up in...."can ya prove it huh huh huh"..ha~~~~~~~ This....see see we evolved from.....hahahaha!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Most humans want a God, they don't want,,"see see evolution, I took biology",,,hahahaha!!!!!!!!!!!! People go with what makes them feel better about things, that is a belief in a Supreme Being. All you little..bah humbuggers....really aren't needed.
story goes
we came from the sea
we simply evolved
into you and me
we were a fish
had fins and a tail
we might have
even been a snail
given enought time
water can turn into wine
a worm
can grow a spine
if given enought time
some say we were a monkey too
so there's our ancestors
down at the zoo
that was some fish
so long ago
that gave us the elephant
and the Eskimo
