Didn't read, but Thibs minute distribution with the bag at SG for the Lakers would make for some quality discussing about 15 games into the season.

If the Lakers can actually acquire enough talent to make a playoff push, playing Kobe 44 minutes a game in November and hoping he breaks down ASAP is their best bet.
Wow. Poor Byron Scott gets the job with the intent to let him build a contender over time and then he immediately gets fired. The coaching carousel in Laker land is an embarrassment approaching Sacramento King-like futility.
I almost got worried and thought Thibs would end up in Methlahoma
Let him go to the Lakers, they'll be mediocre until Ol' peanut-head retires
Until the Lakers develop some type of new iden y that team will be something of a disaster to coach. If Kobe can keep his ego in check he could probably be a good compliment to a budding superstar, in a Robinson to Duncan type of handoff. Without a true, young centerpiece that team will continue to flounder trying to build the team around Kobe.
