Negligible difference. Moving the 2 point conversion to the 1 yard line woulda been bold & a game changer.
To 15 yard line. 2 point conversion stays where it is, and the defense can return both.

I do like the defense getting the ability to score on these plays, that's the big change in my view.
They're both huge. I've seen many a kicker shank an extra point kick and easily make it. Special teams coaches will earn their paychecks that's for sure.
The extra point should come if you can hold the opposition down to inside their 25 on the following kickoff. If they make it out past the 25 then they get the point. And, all kickoffs must be returned.
Agreed...
While I agree with your rule change...it'll never happen. Never never never.....
In a league going to "safety first" no way they make a rule to force all kickoffs to be returned.
Well when I buy the NFL..........
Must return all kckoffs, ya get a point if ya get out past the 40.
No FG 's until the final two minutes of a half.
Only one foot in for a reception like the NCAA.
All rookies sign for the league minimum and two seasons. Ya bring agents in after the contract expires, now ya talk real worth.
No Thursday night games.
Two Monday Night games.
No double road/home.
No Instant replay or old officials.
QB's must call their own plays.
Two presseason games.
Good buy Pro Bowl.
I just hope Madden gets this right. They still don't have overtime working right.![]()
one madden ot could be milked for an entire drive, so they do multiple ots. The rules are still the same though.
I've had OTs both end and continue after scoring a touchdown. It's like a ing coin flip. lol
Meh a meaningless change. The 1-yard line for 2-pt would have been fun but the league needs to protect their QBs (Cheating or otherwise).
What kind of qb would fail to cross the line at the one yard line?
The type of QB that s your mother to high heaven god damn it![]()
Oooh nice. Well both our teams failed at the 1.
But yours hurt so very much more
It hurt. But I'm over it. Can't change what happened. Sure we were that close but to be honest, it's a sport. A ton more important things to worry about.
You never get over stuff like that. 6 is like getting stabbed with a Morgul-blade.
When you tear through the league the next year and get revenge on that team who beat you it helps out a lot though, can you imagine without that run? It would hurt ten times worse. Seattle rings next year and does the same thing I am sure their fans will be a little bit relieved.
