I maintain it was an incredible defense stop by Curry & Thompson. And it was instinct. There was no time to formulate there.

IMO, it was a good call. Harden was practically in GOD mode and it was just a 1 point game. If there's anyone who can score at will in those situations, Harden is one of them. We've seen him done that plenty of times this season. You have to credit the Warriors for that perfect trap.
