    A few injuries happens but this year is just out of hand...

    East

    Pau Gasol, Horford, Korver, Demarre Carroll, basically Lebron's main compe ion.

    West

    Conley, Splitter, Paul, Howard, Allen basically the warriors main compe ion.

    Has there ever been a season where every team an eventual finalist plays had major injuries to its top players?

    I will say this, Kevin Durant's injury turned out to be more significant than expected. Not saying the absence of one player should * an entire season, but think about how different the playoffs in the west might have been with a healthy OKC... spurs fans I'm looking at you. It changes the landscape completely.
