What's your point? It's 3-0, they never had a chance..
Give me a break, the Rockets nearly won twice in the toughest arena to win at in the NBA. They then came home and were blown out in front of arguably the worst homecourt advantage in the NBA.
What's your point? It's 3-0, they never had a chance..
Crazy stat: the Rockets have been outscored in the playoffs, despite being in the WCFs![]()
idk, it could have been 2-1 us too, but I guess you can sit playing the what if game all day. Truth is that Curry is the best shooter I've ever seen, and with the team they've built around him its nearly impossible to defend him at any given time.
The warriors are not as good as everyone thinks they are though. A disciplined team (not the rockets of course) , like last year's spurs would deff. rattle them around. Leanord's length would cause Curry problems and pop would pack the paint just enough to neutralize bogut and have adequate wing defenders in everybody else.
The point is that the Rockets could compete with the Warriors, even if the series standings doesn't reflect that. I'd imagine they may have actually won both games in Oakland had they actually decided to compete. How this team has gotten this far, IDK.
I'm not going to make the missing 2 starters excuse either, as it looks like Warriors would have still won...but with how bad Jones and Smih have been looking...and how 37 year old terry has been trying to defend Curry this series would probably have gone to 7. Beverly is the pesky type to have leveled curry if he needed to .
I do agree that missing Montejunas and Beverely hurts, definitely..
Prigioni was huge at the end of the Clippers series, but you shouldn't be relying on him at his age or 39-year old Terry to play significant minutes in the WCFs..
And ya, Terrence Jones has been a huge disappointment, especially defensively..I was pretty high on him during the regular season, but it appears that he can easily be eliminated from a series(2nd consecutive year IIRC)..
Not crazy at all. All of their losses in the playoffs except for two by the Warriors of all teams, are by 12 or more (and that game wasn't as close as the final score).
There are major locker room problems going on.
How do you know this?

Limited info but here is summary:
Harden and Dwight have stopped hanging out at all
Harden hasn't been on Dwights side lately as in defending him
Harden hangs out with the team, Dwight doesn't
The team believes Dwight is soft and has no desire to win (Ironic since the entire team quit)
The team go to dinners and make fun of Dwight
Funny and ironic... Dwight was the only one trying in Game 3
Yep. There must be more going on that isn't being said yet. It just doesn't make sense.
Dwight was the only one trying? You mean like when he got boxed out by Steph Curry, 1/3 his size?
Josh Smith was complete trash, and so was McHale's bench. Harden 3:16 shot the same ratio in Game 3. Yes Dwight was boxed out by a 180 lb guy but he was trying
It's just mind-boggling that they'd fall off a cliff after coming close to stealing Game 2 in Oakland. Maybe Dwight and Harden did not agree with how the last play of Game 2 went?
I think whatever it is going on with them has been going on since the start of the playoffs. I think Dwight maybe complaining about his touches behind the scene, or called out Harden for lack of effort. Could be plenty of things. But it's been going on a while I'm sure.
Or Josh Smith. Is more than likely involved.
Lol maybe that's why they climbed out of that hole in Game 6...?
Klay Thompson is 4/22 from three in this series and the Dubs are up 3-0 on the Rockets
He's hit some intermediate shots that have buckled the knees & bowed the heads of Rockets. Thought they had the possession stopped & were mistaken.
Josh Smith getting crazy hot from 3 could only happen against Tom Rivers. But anyway, now I read they can't even get through practice without fighting. How does like this happen now? McHale should have elbowed some s and say cut that out. But he probably lets it go on.
You expect, in this day & age for a white man to get twixt a bunch of black men when they're fighting & menstruating?
Next thing he knows:::the checks would stop coming & he'd be sitting in reeducation camp, or, worse.
