People need to know when to keep to themselves if they want to keep their jobs.
A contract nurse at Judson High School has been fired after calling students there "wannabe thugs" in a Facebook post.
Liza Rodriguez-Helms, a nurse hired to care for students with special needs, was terminated last week after posting racially charged complaints about the school and its student population on her Facebook profile, Judson ISD spokesman Steve Linscomb confirmed Wednesday.
"It feels as if I am walking through the ghetto with the way these kids (yes black kids) talk as if they have never been educated," Rodriguez-Helms wrote in the post.
Her Facebook profile has been deleted, but a screenshot of her remarks made the rounds last week on social media.
District officials corroborated Rodriguez-Helms' post after receiving a complaint and severed her contract the same day, Linscomb said.
"We can't just put up with that kind of an at ude," Linscomb said.
Rodriguez-Helms continued, "Others wear their pants low and not told (sic) to pull them up. The black kids start most everything! And are wannabe thugs! I love my client, hate the school, these kid disgust me! Act as if raised by a pack of wild animals!"
Rodriguez-Helms began working at the school after the 2014 Christmas break, Linscomb said. Officials have since requested a new nurse from the agency used by the district to fill her spot.
"While what people do off the job is their business, if they're posting some things that are disparaging comments about this district, that's not right and that needs to be dealt with," Linscomb said.

judson is probably the most popular school here in SA and i used to wear my letterman to the away basketball games. man i ed so many crazy white girls from reagan, churchill and taft it was ridiculous. all off the strength of being a handsome in that red n grey jacket.
