The best Laker was playing for Spain those years, tbh.
The one was 0-16 without Kobe holding his hand? The one who hasn't won without Kobe? Or the one that dominated Mozgv in this year's playoffs? That guy? -15 points son.

Should not matter son. We en invented basketball damnit:

1988: we won Bronze. Best Spur player on roster? Yes: The Admiral. Best Laker? N
2004: we won Bronze. Best Spur player on roster? Yes: Tammy D. Best Laker? N
2008: we won Gold. Best Spur player on roster? N. Best Laker? Yes: Bean
2012: we won Gold. Best Spur player on roster? N. Best Laker? Yes: Bean

Sensing a pattern here? I am.
Yeah...I'm sensing a pattern of selective memory.

1992: We won Gold. Best Spur player on roster? Yes: The Admiral. Best Laker? N
1996: We won Gold. Best Spur player on roster? Yes: The Admiral. Best Laker? N

I'm sensing a bi product of the San Antonio Unified Independent Farmschool District. Magic won Gold in 1992 and Shaq won Gold in 1996.

¡Qué idiota! Yo pago mis impuestos cada año. Me gustaría pensar que su distrito escolar agricultura en sería educado a su idiota mejor que eso! Maldita Sea!

& still together. Marriage is hard work. Could they have tossed the towel? Sure, that's easy. Picking up the pieces---along with the children---that's hard.

But, they didn't entrust their children's future to a boodle & visitation rights. That's where the Duncan's retreated to.

They played NBA players in 1992. Who was Magic associated with even if he "retired" 7 Nov 1991?
Shaq signed with Lakers 19 Jul 1996. He won Gold on 2 Aug 1996 - as a Laker.

Irregardless, NO Laker HOFers were EVER associated with Bronze Medals. NNEPERID!

    The two definitions contradict.

Magic was associated with the Lakers because of his services with them the previous year.

Shaq should, therefore, be associated with the Magic because, even though he signed with the Lakers, have yet to play a single game with them. Besides, Shaq was selected to the team due to his play with the Magic, not the Lakers.

On the other hand, if you want to go by the definition of officially under contract, you can define Shaq as a Laker, but Magic was officially retired.

So you can either have one or another. But not both.

This thread only shows the depths Laker fans have fallen. Their franchise is so godawful and ty, they have to desperately establish what is and isn't a dynasty in order to remember how great it was years ago. They know full well that the death of Jerry and the retirement of Fuhrer Stern has changed everything, and that everyone else in the NBA is going to hold them down and them in the ass and down their throats for the long foreseeable future, and there isn't a goddamn ing thing they can do but clutch their antique metal trophies and reminisce about their "dynasty".
