Money-wise, how could we make this work, if possible? Splitter and then sign and trade CoJo to Denver for Lawson? Or Splitter and...gulp...Patty for Ty? TP is our starting PG but who knows if Lawson could be our super sub off the bench? This is all assuming we strike out on LMA. Could any of this work?
Why not offer Enrique? I have to believe there is atleast one idiot GM that doesn't realize how much he's fallen off. It's not like it's uncommon for a GM to go for an over the hill big name. Otherwise there's no reason to pay $11-12 mill/yr for a back-up PG.
Lawson needs the ball to be effective and he needs big minutes..he's pretty overrated IMO, but he wouldn't want to, nor will come off the bench..
No point in getting Lawson as long as Enrique is around.

Splitter AND Mills for an undersized PG who's going to be 28? Not to mention that Splitter+Mills cost the same as Ty and you'd have no way to replace Splitter given cap constraints.
Awful idea. Mills and Splitter both on great contracts. Lawson's is pretty good too, but in a league where big money gets thrown at awful bigs, you stick with Splitter and an underpaid Mills.
