LG is a filtered version of ST. I don't even visit that site tbh. I go to RealGM for my Laker material.
I scroll there sometimes for material I can steal and pass off as my own here...
They have some real knowledgeable folks at LG
they do, but the number of FOB's outnumber the knowledgeable ones
"Kobe needs more shots!"
The extent of LG's "insight."
LG by far, why any Laker fan would be here instead is beyond me.
There is serious talk about how adding pieces to Kobe can still help the Lakers contend next year and get mamba #6
Somehow as an organization, our goal has changed from winning championships to getting Kobe #6 at all costs
Spurstalk is just not safe for work, ton of softcore porn images, ton of racist remarks, some of the most unappreciative fans with some of the most derogative remarks for Spurs players and coaching staff, it is fully uncensored and pure guilty pleasure.
Lakersground has much more traffic and a much more sustainable model for advertisers (if they ever want to tap into it).

LG full of antiquated basketball minds tbh
It's all they care about. Not the health or the future of the organization, but enhancing Kobe's legacy at the expense of the franchise.
Kobe is "done." And I don't say this out of hate. He can't move on defense anymore and is a huge liability on that end. His offensive game has also become poor due to his physical decline. He can't get separation like he used to and every shot he takes from the post is basically a "bad shot" because of that. He can have a vintage game now-and-then, primarily against smaller defenders, but he's no longer equipped to do much damage against the better perimeter defenders in the league.
He was one of the worst NBA players of the season, and there's a reason for that. We the same kind of decline happening to Tony Parker.
spurstalk has better intentional humor
lg has better unintentional humor
But u have no idea how powerful of a grasp Kobe has on these fans minds, Mid. The other day I was talking to a buddy of mine who is a huge laker fan, he's a semi realistic fan and kind of in the middle about Kobe, definitely more of a Laker fan than a Kobe fan.
We were talking about how Kobe needs to retire soon and this s getting out of hand and I ended up saying Kobe is a cancer at this point and has very little to offer the Lakers. He got pretty upset, he was like man now I know ur trippingKobe can still provide 20 points a game comfortably plus with Swaggy P we still have offensive game but we need more youth in other positions
This is the same guy I said D'antoni coming for Nash is going to be a HUGE disaster, he was already celeberating our 17th championship when the great epic fail that was D'antoni+Nash arrived.
Sigh, I have always felt that the fans have helped propel the Lakers organization towards the right direction. When the fans wanted a great coach, we eventually got one, when we wanted a huge superstar we eventually got one. Right now, the problem is the fans want Kobe of 2009, and it's not going to happen.
... stuff like this is on my facebook feed on a daily basis. especially now that lebron is getting hype.
there are certain disadvantages to living in LA
