melisandre did try to seduce jon snow... maybe because she knows who he really is and wanted to have his son? [if the theory in the video is correct.]
Roughly:
Season 1 = book 1
Season 2 = book 2
Seasons 3 and 4 = book 3
Season 5 = books 4 and 5
The showrunners are really condensing the last two books (combining characters, eliminating certain storylines, etc) I'm assuming because they'd be hard to film otherwise. They really are a big sprawling mess of new locations, characters, etc while moving along the established storylines at a snail's pace. But that really creates a problem for the upcoming seasons. Book 6 should be completed before next season (the producers have a copy of the draft anyway), but there is no way in that book 7 comes out before the show finishes. George RR Martin has reportedly revealed the end of the story to them, so it can be completed without the book. But realistically this show maybe has three seasons left, while Martin won't finish the last book till 2020 at tbe pace he's going. So all the diehard book readers are going to have the ending spoiled for them.

the video is spoiler-y if true. almost wish i hadn't seen it, but whatever. too late now.
Yeah I probably won't be a fan of the two books being condensed into Season 5 when I get there. Three more seasons of the show sounds awesome though. Thanks for the breakdown.![]()
Best episode of the season so far. I feel like a lot of what happened throughout the season led up to the stuff that happened in this episode.
Best fighting scene I've seen so far from the show. Holy in that was an epic twenty mins. The zombie children devouring that woman character was fkn insane. So now Valyrian Steel is like dragonsteel? Funniest part of the episode was that giant asking one of the crows "the are you looking at?"![]()
And on that day...Winter came. This is television at its peak.
ing HBO
thank you George Martin for the initial material, we'll take it from here...
^----- not HBO's fault that GRRM is literally taking forever to do the last two books.
I meant that in a good way: GRRM the peasant upstart, HBO [condescendingly]...
Episode saved the season.
Great stuff with Tyrion as usual. Also, I love Tormund.
lol jeff ayres is marrying khaleesi
I think it was supposed to be a trilogy, then he decided to go 5, then 7 books. He's a pretty ing awesome writer, so give the old fart some slack.
Let me know if you find her name.
Thought for sure...they would kill someone off. Not Stannis's girl but a min character. They spared some lives today.
that scene was absolutely completely nothing, sunshine and lollipops compared to Stannis burning his own daughter...
what has been seen...
Rofl I thought the same thing
Stannis giving up that easy and listening to the in the red dress huh
he did the opposite of giving up.
Melisandre is the best character on the show, tbh..
She had the nicest s until that little sand snake opened up and teased Bronn
Not even close to being worried. Melisandre is around and we have seen what can happen in the past.
Kind of a lame season ending. First off I am sick of Sam. They could write him out for good and I wouldn't miss a thing. I really want to see what has happened to the two Stark boys, they seem to have a more interesting story.
