You thinking Kobe thinks market size affects cap space.![]()
mah nikka
Kobe with the subtle invalidation of Timyee's small town les...with the political doublespeak at the end...
Kobe on his pay vs. Duncan's
"It's a different market, man," Bryant said. "San Antonio's not doing $2 billion TV deals – or $5 billion – so it's a different market
Even with my deal, you have a significant amount of cap space available. But I think the advantage that they've had, and that (Duncan) has had and been very fortunate with, is they've had the same guys since he's been there. That really helps.
"You've got Manu there. You've got Tony there. Those guys have been through the ups and downs and they have that familiarity, and then they build with pieces around that. The same coach. The same system. Here, I've had to go through so many different coaches, so many different systems, it's crazy. But I love watching (Duncan). What they've been able to do is something else."
You thinking Kobe thinks market size affects cap space.![]()
Huh? You're odd....now back to this sweet diss from Kobe
You missed the point. It affects a teams willingness to pay luxury tax.
So you're saying SA can't afford to pay 48m for a guy to sit in street clothes and tweet gotry?
lol admitting the team you pretend to support has no more success at their expenditure than the Spurs do at theirs.![]()
Nothing can be higher in the gotry scale than having a boyfriend move in with you and your wife.
all trolling aside there is no counter arguement to that
Except spelling Koolman backwards as an alt.
I never noticed that....pretty cool..now back to homies moving in with you and your wife
Yeah you're not very bright.
I'm pretty sure moving in the boyfriend with the wife tops that.![]()
lol at this got acting like he has nothing to do with the lack of continuity in LA
Kobe is right, but at the same time, Kobe isn't worth what he's being paid now, so it's a moot point. San Antonio isn't a "small town", though, not like it's Oklahoma City, the population ranks in the top 10 in the country IIRC. Kobe doesn't belong in SA, that's for sure, the culture of the Spurs is being humble, winning with the same formula, and not going too far past what we know. The Lakers are run far differently and throw everything they can at FAs and try to change the team often as the success comes and goes in eras, without much consistency between their championship years. Whereas we've been consistently good to great for over 15 years.
And, as much as Lakerfan wants to think Kobe hates the Spurs, there is zero doubt there's immense respect amongst the team as we've been through many battles over the years, trading wins and losses along the way.
talks about others being cheap...while he goes colorado on some girl thinkn it was a freebie
Oh, yeah, you're real humble. You rape, fornicate, cheat, divorce, conspire to cheat, call the BCSO to save your ass from one conspirator (Jackson), lose millions, give back an NBA le, let your mouth overload your in' ass,,all these things you do...just like the next humble asshole in the line.
That's the one where Jim Buss fought, alone, using hammer & tong---tooth & nail not to obey Bryant. Couple that successful fight for Jim with his original belief & fight to draft Bynum and we're enriched by 2, count 'em 2 NBA les.
Jim Buss
One of their more humble acts.
Yup, you are right. No Bynum, not b2b for Kobe.
Jim Buss with Dr Buss
Absolutely.
Jim Buss
I agree, let Jim Buss run the show.
Absolutely.
How many swings at the bat does he get until you change your tone, Cub? He hasn't done a lot since Bynum...
