I think it's just a recruiting trip? JaMyest Williams tweetede this thursday
Eno Benjamin and Juan Harris tweeted a picture yesterday in a car, and Williams earned an offer from Baylor yesterday while he visited there. I don't know if Williams just happened to cross path with the other guys, who can be in town for the Team USA Football event.
It's Abbott and Costello's "Who's on First?" at this point.
Their update read like the Cy Falls coach trying to cover for Lampkin after he admitted publicly he wants to go to OU.
His coach even went as far as saying Lampkin is still enrolled in that class and should pass it.
I spoke with Cy Falls head coach Kirk Eaton to try and get some clarification of where things are with defensive tackle Du'Vonta Lampkin in what has been a very confusing situation.
Eaton did speak with Lampkin this weekend and on Monday. He said the situation is a head-scratcher for him as well, and he believes Lampkin has made some confusing choices in large part because he's young and afraid of making such a big decision.
However, coach Eaton said that Lampkin is still taking his Spanish course and Eaton still fully expects Lampkin to pass the course and enroll at Texas. The way he put it, he thinks deep down inside, that's what Lampkin really wants, but Lampkin is afraid of the possibility of not getting admitted into Texas and then having to scramble for a back-up plan. But Eaton has stressed to Lampkin that Lampkin made a big commitment, he signed his letter of intent and he needs to follow through with his word.
If it turns out Lampkin is unable to qualify, Eaton said it's his understanding that Lampkin could then enroll at an out-of-state school like Oklahoma, but he's still hopeful and confident that that scenario won't come into play.
Per 24/7, Texas has offered 2017 DT Juan Harris of West Union, IA.
He is related to former Oklahoma DT Tommie Harris.

ut offer
After weeks of deliberating ex Florida signee Noah erson is down to two Pac-12 programs. Both schools will receive a visit this week and his decision will come soon after.
Quotes from DT Gerald Wilbon of Destrehan, LA (OrangeBloods):
"What stands out is you could say, Texas is known for how much they love football in Texas. I was thinking about how much passion the fans have for Texas football. That was the first thing that came to my mind."
"I was just excited to get that one (Texas offer). Coach Duke (his mentor) told me how nice it was in Texas. I can't wait to go up there to actually see the campus, things like that."
"I describe myself as run stopper. I play nose guard. I'm good at stopping the run and plugging the two A gaps. I can improve my pass rush overall. I feel like my pass rush is good in terms of collapsing the pocket, but I want to get a little better so I can get better at pressuring the quarterback."
TE Jack Stoll of Aurora, CO talks more about his unofficial visit to Texas last week (24/7):
“Overall, it was a great visit,” Still said. “The last time I came was for the spring game, so this time was more in-depth. I loved everything. The coaches, the city and the campus were all great. I got to spend more time with the coaches, and the tour of the business school was eye-opening.”
“I’ve always stayed away from that (committing on the spot),” Stoll said. “But I’m not going to lie, I did have the thought in the back of my head. Wherever I visit, I always have that thought. Colorado, Nebraska and Texas are all phenomenal schools. I know I have to do my evaluations carefully.”
“I was able to have a long conversation with Coach (Charlie) Strong, and I love his philosophy,” Stoll said. “I think I would thrive under it. Coach (Jeff) Traylor has been great, too. I also got to meet with the rest of the offensive staff. They have really sold the academics and tradition. Being a part of that makes me excited.“
2017 RB Eno Benjamin of Wylie East discusses visiting UT yesterday (24/7):
“It was great,” Benjamin said. “There was love from all around. Coach Strong comes off as a hardworking man who is dead serious about turning this program around. I really loved how the whole facility was structured."
“There was a lot of graphics on the wall with so much meaning behind it. A lot of great players came through that school and many players have made so much history throughout all of their athletics programs.”
“Coach Strong was talking to me about how much he loves a guy who can play football as well as soccer,” Benjamin said. “He talked about how we carry two different types of athlete in one.”
“Texas is right up there with anyone that has offered me and anywhere that I have visited,” Benjamin said. “There’s no doubt.”
Guys-
I'm running out of characters on the first page for the offer board, so I'm going to delete a few 2016 prospects who definitely won't be going to UT. If you want to see the entire list of offers, I'll paste a link to 24/7.
