Too early to tell, but Love would be a tremendous help right now actually.
He wants to play gm and coAch and shorten nba season
Too early to tell, but Love would be a tremendous help right now actually.
Wiggins was not that good this year. He had moments, but overall, he was not anything special that would help more than healthy Love.
True, I just feel like Love wants to be the man on the Cavs and its just not gunna happen. If he's there next season watch him start pouting about not being used correctly or not getting enough shots. On top of that the Cavs essentially made it to the finals without him.
What are you talking about? The Warriors are on the verge of completing the luckiest season in NBA history probably. Nothing about this team can be properly gauged.
They've had: Incredible health luck throughout; the playoff match-ups break perfectly for them on the final night of the regular season; avoided 3 of the top 4 teams in the West; Holiday, Evans, Conley, Beverley, Motiejunas, Love and Irving either out altogether or playing injured; no fluke buzzer beaters go in against them, no crucial call(s) not go their way.
As much as I hate the Thunder, give their '12 team everything the Warriors have had going for them and this opponent, in their current state and they absolutely win the championship in five probably.
In that light, makes perfect sense. But there is such a huge difference in getting there and having a legit shot to win. You can see how badly Lebron needs help and Love (despite flaws) was helping CLE. Defense wasn't great, but he was a net positive player for them.
But he will have to commit more mentally. The trade could definitely look bad in a few years, especially if Love bolts, but he would be useful right now.
Lebeta had 38 shot attempts today. Just the other day he had 37 vs Chicago but once again he'll get a pass while most players would be labeled "cancers and chuckers."
Deflection.
How is it amazing? Any all time great at or near the peak of their powers should have had this team in the Finals, given the laughable path and how banged up the already flawed other "elite" teams in the conference were.
For some reason, their role players are not getting enough credit either. I don't care how bad or thin they appear on paper, in reality a bunch of them have played well. Above their head well, but still.
This is the worst playoffs I can remember seeing and it's being capped off by a farce of a Finals, with one team and one player getting far too much credit for having an incredible amount of luck.
Said every fanbase whose team has been eliminated from contention
He is an all time great and there are very few. That's what is amazing. If you aren't an all time great, you have 0 shot at making a finals with this team. None.
Love is trash. The Cavs wouldn't have held the W's to 98 points in regulation with Love in the lineup.
Lol losing record in the finals.
It has nothing to do with Spurs and everything to do with a team being gift wrapped a championship.
Some of my favorite series of all time ('06 WCSF vs Mavs; '13 Finals vs Heat) ended with gut wrenching losses for the Spurs.
Without question. He's probably the second best player of all time, but I don't buy that only he could have done this.
I'm honestly not sold on Love, but you've definitely defended your argument well. I can't disagree that Love would be helpful right now, but I think me and you can agree that long term this move could potentially come back to haunt the Cavs.
For sure - I just think Love has gotten lost in the shuffle due to role (like Bosh did) and because CLE reached the finals due to Brons greatness. He was helping, but he's still got a lot to prove.
didnt watch the game
why didnt miller or marion played? heck even the aussie played like 10mins and no shot attempts?
LeBron and Love bolt this summer.
Man that traveling call on Mosgov. I'd be so pissed about that call if I was a Cavs fan. The kind of travel that isn't called 90% of the time.
Actually they need Kevin Love more than they need Wiggins. It's not Love's fault that somebody injured him.
The Cavaliers don't have any quality bigs on their bench and the 2 that they do have aren't as talented as Love and can't spread the opponent out past the 3 point line like Love can.
Also Wiggins being a horrible outside shooter and not being good at much else wasn't going to help the Cavs.
Whoa did the NBA Finals bring out the blackies at the local Bar
Harsh but spotted by the referee because he's a slow big man. He hop stepped and then lifted his foot. Automatic travel. No need to even see the subsequent spin to the right
I agree that it's a travel. Just IMO a tough one to swallow for Cavs fans with all the blatant travels that are allowed throughout the season, obviously because it was with 2 or 3 minutes left to go in game. Al Horford got away with something similar to win a game for the Hawks in the postseason.
Bogut was Boss. Refs aren't computers. They hold a certain bias
