Truthbombs. You didn't find any Spurs fan conplaining in 99' when the had a weak path to the finals, in 03' when Dirk went down, or 07 when they had the easiest path to the finals.

Nah they've dominated all year it's theirs they deserve it. No trophy deserves an astrisk because it's a long season and every team has an equal chance to win.
Let's make it two decades. Even if you leave out 99 and write a book about 2000-2020, and assuming they don't ring again, the Spurs would still be a significant chapter in that book.

Makes me sick to see Spurfan acting like brats here. We've gotten "lucky" before (Warriors taking out the Mavs in 2007), and Westbrook's injury played a role too in our Finals trip in 2013.

Most of the spur fans acting en led are really young considering they were born after 1990 so there is no memory of a period of time where the Spurs struggled just to be a relevant franchise. They didn't have to endure the Pre-Duncan spur struggles so they are spoiled. Also a lot of them are not real spur fans but bandwagon jumpers who became fans the last few years.

I'm a realist who respects the game. I'm not going to act like we were going to roll through everyone this year because our players weren't as dedicated to it as they were the year before. They didn't have the same amount of desire, it's very clear to me. The Clippers played their hearts out to win against us while we never really took them as seriously as they took us — that why we blew it.
Next year the Spurs will be back to elite status.
