True, tbh..he couldn't get out of the 1st round without Pippen, but I'm sure he could have won this series, though..
Pretty much describes lebronze vs mj imo
Unless lebron can win this series he will be far away behind the goat imho

The East builds to beat the East, and the West to beat the West. That iso ball and bailout brick chucking isn't going to beat a high paced machine like GS. I don't know if the Cavs could beat the GS bench tbh. Walking the ball up might seem fine to a team that plays in the post, but the Warriors kill you in transition and the Cavs haven't responded to it with their own. They need to attack off the dribble during the 1st few seconds of the possession, else GS defense will set up. This isn't the Suns.
Short bus take imo
We obviously talking about finals where the great ones can almost taste it. Goat is 6-0 in the finals and a Pippen broken kneecap would not have changed that.
Meanwhile lebald is 2-4 and counting![]()
I disagree. Pippen was crucial to the Bulls' success, and people who think otherwise probably never watched them play.
In the finals Jordan wouldn't have been denied even without Pip imo
Smh ppl forget the bulls pretty much toyed with s in the finals. If they didn't sweep every finals is because they were too busy looking good.
Without pippen they still in. They tough it out but still win. Smh short bussers
Alright, thanks for the analysis, tbh..
Didn't you say the Cavs would easily win this series, too?![]()
Mj would win a game in the finals without pippen
James has not without wade
Ouch
How far can this losing streak go?
Not 4
Not 5
Not 6?
DK without MVPippen overall: 182-228
DK without MVPippen in Chicago: 108-138
DK without MVPippen in the playoffs: 2-9
Probably not against Phoenix or Seattle, but he basically did that in Utah when Pippen was playing at about 5% tbh.
I can't believe Im agreeing with Clipper Nation.
I seem to remember the Bulls didnt win when Pippen had migraines.
Current players also get for switching teams trying to build "dream teams" when previous generations didnt.
Theres a reason for that: There wasnt unrestricted free agency until 1989.
It's fortunate for MJ there was no social media back when he was getting kayoed by the Pistons on a regular basis. He would have taken a beating.
Against 90s teams? Probably not
Against 2010's teams? Yes
Seems to me Father-Setter-Upper needed Pippen AND a competent 4-PF to be successful. He only won 1 playoff series without one if not both.
The Bulls were clutch but they needed some bounces to go their way against the Suns and Jazz (x2). It's simply incredible how they never swept anyone in the Finals though.
What if Jordan didn't have Pippen and Grant/Rodman?
We already saw that in 1995. A great player is only as great as the role players they have. Only the Nigerian Prince won without a legit second in command that could pick up the slack if he got hurt.
