I have asked this a million times in here since some keep on saying it, who at this point is going to trade for a aging PG who had the year he had last year? What would you get for him in return? NOT near value so why trade him? Nobody will take on that contract and he is not an attractive trade piece at this point, so trade him for nothing basically and then start who at PG all year?

no contract is untradable. and i'm not even looking for equal value. idk how nba economics work but i'm looking to trade parker mostly to dump his salary so we can retain green. green is the best 3 & d player in the league, bar none. he's of more value to us because: of his services, he's younger, and can be had for less than what parker will be making.

as for who i'd start over tony: shved, calderon, even mills.

and we'd still have room for aldrige/gasol.

They are probably not signing a Max FA anyways so that would leave room to bring Green back unless someone offers him a VERY high contract and in the case he is gone. What does Green have to do with Parker, does he replace him? One is a PG as I said the other a SG. I think his contract is untradable right now after last year, who would want him after that season? Is his contract attractive at that age and the way he played? No. What would you get in return? Not much.

Alridge and Gasol right now are speculation and a dream at this point in time, wait until one comes and then cross that bridge. I would not get my hopes up like some of you are in here, you might be let down and this might be a typical Spurs offseason where they get some role players and re sign who they already have.

Mills is not a starting PG in this league, he is a SG in a PG's body and undersized. Calderon is good but is he a FA? I would not mind him on the team. You would need a starting PG if you traded Tony and I don't know of the FA class right now but what is on the team now is a bunch of back ups and none can start through a whole season at the PG slot. Cojo is also a FA so he is not guaranteed to come back by any means.

Yep, should be even more worn down and slower next season if that is possible. Maybe he loses weight though?

We don't need to shed salary to keep Green. Parker for Calderon would actually be a pretty good trade. Knicks need a PG and its classic Knicks to go for a "big name". Calderon is an excellent shooter and still a good play maker.
