TIFWIW, but Inside Texas mentioned yesterday they're hearing WR Gilbert Johnson will not be enrolling at UT.
S Innis Gaines of Beaumont West Brook told OrangeBloods he's expecting an offer based on feedback from the coaching staff after the camp.

You guys ah Fckn killing us.
WTF is up? Why can't we get deep in this area? Was last year NOT an indication we have openings?
Help me out here please.
I'm sure all our recent OL high draft picks help us. Maybe they also think they'll get noticed more when they're blocking for Kyle Allen and Kyler Murray. Not to kick you while you're down, but your offense with Swoopes is probably not the kind of attention they're looking for.
That's my guess anyway - might need to see some type of improvement / potential from your offense before some kid(s) will take a chance with what he hopes will be a professional career. Of course it's hard to turn it around before someone buys in - just one of those difficult situations to get out of. It's a vicious cycle - good kids don't want to go there because your offense sucks, and without good commits it will suck next year and the following year's recruits will likely look elsewhere too.
I would say getting killed is a bit much. Sure we only have Tope Imade in this class and they have 4 OL recruits, 2 of which are brothers that came as a packaged deal and a very good Greg Little who is not guaranteed to stick with aggies. Not knocking the Little situation just going off what I've heard but what a great deal for aggies if they can hold onto him. We took 6 OL in this past class, not to say we aren't need but it is very early in the process to begin to panic.
Last year was just awful.
I can't take another year of a bad O-line.
Somebody has to get better? We lost a whole bunch of guys last year but the replacements were just awful.
We gotta have a bunch take a huge steps forward. I things progress or our RBs are dead meat.
You may have to. In talking to Dalton Santos' dad he says this is the biggest worry the team has...even more so than who will play QB. He says the talent just isn't there.
Two other names that attended camp worth remembering (Scout):
S, DeMarkus Acy, Dallas Wilmer-Hutchins

ATH, Mulbah Car, Austin Reagan

I think a new offensive system that better fits the guys we do have will disguise that a little, but who knows.
Inside Texas saying DE Erick Fowler of Manor did not show up to camp yesterday as expected.
SG RJ Nembhard of Keller will be on campus tomorrow, per OrangeBloods:

Crap.
Just wonderful...
I missed this one a few days ago, but WR TJ Vasher (family member of Nate) committed to Texas Tech:

-WR Kendrick Rogers of Frankston has committed to A&M.
-DE Caleb Roddy of Denham Springs, LA has committed to LSU.
A&M has offered RB Brandon Stephens of Plano High.
Once a few more offers start rolling in, we'll see how solid that one is
Per 24/7, DE Erick Fowler of Manor will unofficially visit LSU this weekend. This will be his third trip in about six weeks.
If you're unaware, his stepfather is also the father of DT Desmond Jackson. However, rumor goes he's pushing hard for LSU.
Recent quotes from DT Kendell Jones of Killeen Shoemaker (OrangeBloods):
“My options are still open so I guess I am half solid. Things can always change so right now it isn’t completely solid. I’m looking forward to see what will happen.”
“Coach (Bo) Davis is kind of like a dad to me because of the relationship we have. He was the very first coach to offer me when he was at Texas so we have had a strong relationship for so long,” Jones said. “He is one of the main reasons why I want to go to Alabama. The most important thing to me is my relationships with my coaches. I have such a great relationship with him.”
“I visited Texas the most and they expected me to come to their school. When I committed elsewhere, it was kind of awkward,” Jones said. “Coach Strong wants my dad and me to come back for a visit so we can sit down and talk with him.”
Update on S Innis Gaines of Beaumont West Brook (24/7):
“The coaches told me that I looked good and that I performed well,” Gaines said. “I enjoyed getting to work with Coach (Chris) Vaughn and Coach (Vance) Bedford. I loved their coaching style and the overall atmosphere at the camp.”
“Coach Vaughn and Coach Bedford said that I’m very close to getting an offer,” Gaines said. “They like me at safety and think I can bring a lot of energy. They said they would be in touch with me this week.”
“I would commit right away if they offer,” Gaines said. “I’ve always loved Texas. It was my first camp when Mack Brown was there. Charlie Strong is building a new team and doing a great job. It would be great to be a part of it.”
Goodbye Kendell
Enjoy Tuscaloosa.
