It worked fine in the heyday. Blatt isn't beholden to current trends, nor, Media influence. He's got holt of something from the old days and he's shamelessly exploiting it just like they did then.
What the ? How does a professional basketball team, with a full coaching staff paid millions of dollars, not have any offensive system? You said you were being literal, so I'm interpreting it literally.

Warriors are doing their part by trying to setup 3 point shots on the transition instead of simply attacking the rim
Hey look! Justin Bieber just said something about Kim Kardashian! Hurry, go start a thread about it.
Jesus ing Christ you like yourself way too much. Do you ever read that you write and think "what the "? I think if you ever tried to talk basketball you'd fail miserably so you do all the lacey riddle that no one really reads anyhow...
Bynum the "creator" ...LOL
It's on Lebeta obviously. He put the team together and according to Lebeta's resident buckets he's the one calling the plays and Blatt's just a puppet.
"riddle" my ass. Blatt is just doing what every one did in the isolation days (Williams dumps it into Webber and veers away to let him work)...again & again & again.........
Magic comes up the left side, Worthy posts up. "Get out." - Magic --- Worthy moves off to let Magic isolate & work.
That's what Blatt is doing. Found his horse, mounted him and will ride him to the bitter end, again, and again, again......
loosely using literally, tbh, but ya, they don't..
Erik Spoelstra himself has actually said that they didn't have an offensive system in Miami in year 1, and that he took part of blame for Lebron/Wade ISO on every possession..
It's true..it's a genius strategy by Lebron, only chance they have of winning..it won't work, though, they'll still lose in 5..
Cavs swept the Hawks and got the chance to win both games in Golden State playing this way. Stick with what is working, tbh.

That's Timofey's numbers
Isn't that how you and your got horde felt about Kobe when he was still alive?
You're such a cool internet bully man. You must be 6'5 and very tough in person
I'd hold you down and have my way with you. You'd make a pretty girl no doubt.
Huh? I just LOL at bynum the creator what does Mozgof have to do with me laughing at that? Also that was for Harlem not you ...what are you Capt. Save' em now? Harlem is more than capable of backing up his own posts.
Bynum as a black hole that never passed the ball, but he was easily capable of creating his own shot in the post..Laker fans, including most here, were claiming he was just as good or better than Dwight Howard because of his advanced post game, if you recall..
Lakers fans struggling mightily to keep Kobe from falling even further behind someone who's behind MJ.
I was thinking the same. Bynum could create his own offense about as well as any low post player I've seen. He had incredible low post scoring ability.
It never settled though into a career. It was terribly sporadic, terribly frustrating. He was perpetually afraid of the 3 second call once they targeted it.
No one said it did. His unfortunate knee injuries, and health in general were the issue, not his fear of the 3 second call.
It was a strong component of his ruination, Phil. His game was rushed, frenetic, everything he'd built, nurtured and polished was taken from him upon an edict from Stern in New York. Mentally he was compromised.
I don't fully agree, but regardless... What is your point?
