Maybe their knack for being clutch could overcome some things, but I don't see those Rockets beating those Bulls in a 7-game series. Bulls in 6 like always. That second Rockets team was arguably the greatest overachiever of all-time.
I saw the Rockets doc on TV.So let's get the ball started
Ranking the 8 championship teams in order
1996 Bulls
1991 Bulls
1992 Bulls
1997 Bulls
1998 Bulls
1994 Rockets
1993 Bulls
1995 Rockets
Jordan detractors point out 55 wins in 1994 season after MJ left, but the Bulls massively upgraded their bench with Kerr,Kukoc,Longley.Kerr and Kukoc were on the team before MJ called it quits. That would of been a 65 win team rivaling the 92 Bulls squad, maybe better,if Jordan stayed and 4 peat champion.
Fan of both teams. The 95 Rockets were criminally exciting with addition of Drexler,3 point barrages and overall style of play.

1992 Bulls were the best of that bunch.
1996 team is massively overrated.
Yeah, they lost to the expansion Raptors and a slew of other .500 teams. The Bulls were one of the worst teams in the NBA.
They would easily beat the 1998 Bulls, not even an argument, tbh..
The 1998 Bulls weren't dominant in any facet of the game, and their compe ion in the playoff was the 17th ranked D, the 21st ranked D and the 15th ranked D..the only good defense they went up against was the 5th ranked Pacers, and that series went 7 games..
Good ranking for 90s Champs, i'd put Pistons below 97 bulls, 98 bulls a spot lower and the 99 Spurs* below the 98 bulls or on the very bottom.
*- denotes exhibition season and inability to repeat
1992 Bulls
1997 Bulls
1996 Bulls
1999 Spurs
1991 Bulls
1993 Bulls
1995/1994 Rockets
1998 Bulls
I tend to agree with this. No disrespect to what they accomplished but would rather have Mj at the peak of his prime and Pippen and grant as young studs than Jordan at the tail end of his prime Rodman at the end of his ... Only advantage the 1996 team has is Pip was in his prime ...
How is anyone putting the 94 Rockets over the 95 Rockets? Vernon Maxwell was scarier on the break than Drexler?
Kukoc and Kerr were in prime.
Vernon Maxwell also presented significant matchup problems for Jordan unlike any other player and also had to be accounted for from the 3-point line, making Michael have to think twice about doubling down low.
94 Rockets would absolutely c-stomp the Bulls
Especially Kukoc. A splendid foot soldier. Tell him what to do---one time. That's all it took.
A winnerPERIOD
The only knock on 1992 Bulls was that they looked awful in a couple of playoff games. The 1991 team was almost flawless. The Bulls during 91 playoff was the best they looked during entire run, including 1996.
Nothing overrated about 96 Bulls except those 2 hideous games in Seattle.
They just wanted to win in Chicago and on Father's Day.
