Not bad, not bad at all.
It did a good job of caputuring the feel of the first one.
That's too bad. The first one was great... or maybe I just have good memories of it since I was kid when I first saw it.
I liked it - definitely better than the 3rd and a little more in order than the Lost World. I loved that Jimmy Buffett cameo when the pterosaurs were terrorizing the main park.
It's a UNIX system!
No but they could have focused more on the park and filled in the details on what had happened in the preceding years and how Jurassic Park/World had become operational after all the bad publicity and the failed launch before the inevitable and expected dino rampage (or perhaps some of it could have happened simultaneously).

The curiosity factor (including me, whose not even an avid movie goer). We'll see how much staying power it has once the anticipation and build up go away,
I'll be there. They can build off of this one.
Would you say it is more probable than not that you were satisfied?
Did anyone notice the reference to Steve jobs with his at ude and attire (black turtle neck)? Samsung was the brand of the movie so it's not a surprise.
This movie was thoroughly enjoyable. I Iike the respects they paid to the original throughout. Also how they even talked about how nobody being impressed with dinosaurs anymore so having to up the ante, and people in here are complaining about not being impressed with the dinosaurs. Can't please everyone.
I plan on seeing it this week or next week. I'll try out that Jurassic Park blizzard in the interim. Part 3 is better than part 2 imo. Joe Johnston is an underrated director and part 2 lost me with the negrita gymnastics and the t-Rex running around San Diego.
apparently Bryce Howard's character is pinned down by a raptor who then eats her pussy out as Pratt is powerless to stop it. So I look forward to that.
the coon hitches a ride in that RV and ransacks the place while they're out, eating all the food and basically ruining the rv, then makes white america clean up her mess.
too bad the Rex didn't eat her chimp ass; though who knows what the effects of AIDS would do to a dinosaur.
can confirm the part about the raptor raping her. the I Rex was going to rape her too the shark dinosaur got to her first and she was understandably split in half.
this movie sucks tbh
ending is ty
and Chris Paratt makes the same face during the whole movie
AIDS is what killed off the dinos. They were a God fearing species until the LGBT subset forced them to all start butt ing one another.
As for the black , that was the same Spielberg who inserted Walkie talkies for guns in ET. I don't remember part 2 that well fortunately but the second book was far better.
I would say it's not bad enough to walk out on but not good enough to pay to see again. Apparently half the audience liked it as they clapped at the end, so maybe you will too.

If the T-Rex actually had feathers, that would be the most disappointing thing ever. I can handle Velociraptors having feathers, but not T-Rex.
I honestly would have been much happier with a prequel than the movie that was released, granted the actor who portrayed John Hammond passed away within the past couple of years. Show how the park was developed, what inspired Hammond to build it, why he selected Off-Shore Costa Rica, some detail in the cloning process, etc...
But it's Hollywood. I can't blame them if they can make back 200% of their investment and counting by making a cheap summer blockbuster popcorn flick (granted, it's better than what I could do, easy for me to criticize sitting here) that was edited and resurrected from development that more or less repeats many of the same aspects of the previous movies. That as opposed to something that is totally new to how we know the Jurassic Park universe.
Damn bro, you're really melting down over this movie. Maybe it's time to rethink your life.
That's exactly what this movie is. A cheap summer blockbuster popcorn flick. And it's so disappointing because the first, and even the second Jurassic Park movie, were so much more than that.
If you like this movie then you probably like the 2nd 3rd and 4th transformers movies. It has the same brainless action, cheesy lines, characters, and story. The 70% this movie got on RT is absolutely amazing to me...it shows just how much people love Jurassic Park. Heck, I do too, I read the first and 2nd books by Crichton and absolutely LOVED the 1st and 2nd Jurassic Park movies (the 3rd one was....ehhh) but this one was just horrible. It didn't even feel like Jurassic Park...it just stole the music.
If Crichton was still alive I wonder if he would have let this happen... Probably couldn't have prevented it but maybe it would have been better. It certainly couldn't have been any worse.
I'm just talking about how I feel about it. It was so forgettable, I'd already forgotten about it until reading this thread.
lemme guess, another complete piece of that plays off the nostalgia of the 20-30 crowd with ty characters, cheesy animated action, and chocked full of advertisements. all for the very fair price of $10.
You were expecting Jurassic World to win the Oscar for best picture?
was i close?
