Cuz Parker was cookin french toast for breakfast & dinner![]()
Game 1: 4-16, 6 turnovers, lose by 8
Game 3: 9-23, 5 turnovers, lose by 3
Game 4: 10-30, 6 turnovers, lose by 1
The Cavs were in 3 out of the 4 games they lost despite Lebron shooting 34% and averaging like 6 turnovers per game
They lost game 3 & 4 by a combined 4 points. LeBron went 19-53 with 11 turnovers in those games
That was a winnable series. He had a great ECF, but laid an egg in the finals.

He clearly doesn't get a pass, people blindly reference his Finals record all the time..
That team was one of the 3 or 4 biggest underdogs in Finals history IIRC(only surpassed in 2001 and 2002 and maybe 1999 IIRC), that's why he should get a pass..
The Cavaliers were only in two of those games. They got thumped in Game One and rallied from a huge deficit to make the score look respectable in Game Two. It's not surprising that LeBron struggled in those Finals- he was up against the best defensive team in the league, he had no help offensively and at the time he didn't have enough of an offensive game to overcome those disadvantages.
And did you really call that a winnable series for the Cavaliers?![]()
Crazy how fortunate the Spurs were that year, tbh..they probably still beat a declining Pistons team, but it would have been a tough series, and obviously the Mavs being eliminated in round 1 was the biggest factor..throw in the Phoenix suspensions and one of the worst WCFs teams of all-time(Utah) and ya, easy-ass le
..
Spurfan now downplaying their own team to hate on LeBron.
So you expected Lebron to win a championship with Boobie Gibson as his sidekick?

I don't buy that Dallas would have beaten the Spurs that year. They got off to a really hot start and then faded bad by the end of the season. That team looked pretty worn down to end the season and lost to the most gimmicky team I have ever seen. And I really don't buy that the Pistons with Webber instead of Big Ben would have had any chance. The Suns could have definitely beaten the Spurs headed back to Phoenix tied 2-2 if not for Nash's flop (right cubby?), but I'm not buying any of the other teams doing it.
Lebron couldnt even get past the second round with Shaq on his roster
but but it wasn't a prime Shaq
He ha no jumper at all then. Big difference
