Players like Iggy and Kawhi winning Finals MVP, displaying the versatility, depth and unselfishness of today's teams..

No force-feeding MVPs to the bigger names, tbh..no egos, no players punching teammates, no players refusing to enter the game if the final play isn't drawn up for them, etc..

This era is far from perfect, but obviously the NBA is doing a much better job pushing the team concept than ever before in the league's history.

The 'star system' will never die, but the '11 Mavs, last year's Spurs, and this year's Warriors are creating a template that will make the NBA a better product in years to come, imo

True..they are still recovering from the ISO, selfish era that Dad Killer created, but the last few champions have helped rediscover the Magic/Bird era of basketball, minus the White American players that hurt the overall athleticism..

Carlisle and the Mavs started it, Spurs mastered it, and the Warriors may build a dynasty from it..

Not sure on final numbers but:

    Jake Fischer @JakeLFischer
Andre Iguodala took the Finals MVP with a 7-4 vote over LeBron James. No votes for Stephen Curry.

Bro, your arguments are beyond stupid, tbh

According to your team accomplishments logic, James Worthy and Robert Parrish dominated the 80s..cool argument..

You're the one who literally just cited that Bird/Magic era as a team ball one. moron

What the ? What does that have to do with LeBron dominating?

Your only definition of an individual dominating is winning les? Jordan didn't dominate in the 80s?

    Wow, so vanilla..

So were the Warriors. 99.9% of NBA championship teams will have a star, the Spurs were an anomaly.

It's more their playing style I'm commenting on than their stars (or lack thereof). The teams all focus on ball spacing and passing, rather than hero ball

Not all teams. Isoball can make it to the finals in the East.

He wouldn't have had access to the same type of PEDs back then as he does now. Just the standard dangerous anabolic steroids which weren't common in the NBA in that era.

Yeah, today's ball is about how one single player create the entire offense, but not good enough to finish ala Jordan.
