This season Cali State HIGH SCHOOL 100m champ was T.J.Brock, ran a 10.3, the fastest women in the world run 10.7ish. That is like a 4.3 40 vs a 4.7, yep, HUGH!!!!!!!!!!!
Would I take Oxford totally to school about the mechanics of 100m sprinting, yes I would. I've been into it far FAR longer than anyone there, trust me! It's about that stride length/max velocity/speed endurance combo. And no scientific anything will ever change that.

You see the key to running a 100m is...sustaining/maintianing a high % of your max velocity..... that is called speed endurance, ok little buddy? Women simply don't possess enought power to hang with even boys, ok?
