Spurs trade Splitter to clear cap room, Pick Vaughn and let Green walk.They sign Aldridge. I also wouldn't mind Hunter or even Tokoto if it's just a role to be filled.

Vaughn is gonna be an absolute bust in the league. He has spent the last few years letting his "mentor" mind him, while the "mentor" road his coat tails all the way to a job he didn't deserve in VegaS. For Vaughn to be successful, his new team will have to break the hold his "mentor" has AND undo the me-first at ude his mentor instilled in him.

Players can work out at other team's practice facilities. It happens frequently. There was a story a few years ago about another team's player being banned from the Spurs facility because of some unacceptable behavior. I don't remember the details. I'm sure within an hour someone will post it.

If the Spurs weren't big on the loyalty thing it would be great to trade him for some young talent like Russel/Mudiay. TP always claimed he would be a god if he won in NY. Now's the chance to test that theory and PJ might be crazy enough to go along with that.
