Every time he'd get close to the end, he'd quit. That's why The Cubes just let him drift away.

Well, the big shot swore up & down that after Kobe went down he'd take the gang with him and show everybody how it was done. You beat us flat. No more big shot.

Did Nash deserve back to back MVPs? His numbers weren't all that impressive and his defense was always bad. (From what I've read anyways)

Nash was way too ty defensively, I know Parker gets a lot of from revisionist history Spurs fan, but Parker was ing great in the matchup vs Nash except in 2010 when Pop let that Canadian got get hot vs George Hill's horrible pick and roll defense to start every game.

Shaq had the Heat the #1 seed in the East and they would have made the Finals if not for injuries in the ECF. I would have hated seeing the 05 Heat in the Finals with Duncan's ankles so ed after Game 6 in Seattle.

I don't give a if the Lakers were the 7 seed, Kobe went nuts in 06. I watched him drop 56 on Memphis, 62 in three quarters vs Dallas (I think Dallas had 61 after three ), and 81 on Toronto. Kobe's regular season and Wade's ECF and Finals are the things everyone remembers about 06.

I'm actually a big Kobe fan, have been since 2000. I'm just not a Kobe fan fan, and they're easy to troll.

Fwiw, not a big fan of Kobe. I honestly prefer and appreciate Gasol more during those B2B runs.

Yeah Miami might have made the finals if not for injuries but I still think the Spurs beat them. I think the Spurs would have beaten Miami in 06 had they made it as well, they would not have blown that 2-0 lead (Plus being up 13 late in game 3) and put that team away. That Heat team was good no doubt but hardly great, they could be beaten but Dallas let them off the hook a year later. Detroit was tough enough in those 05 finals man, that match up was just pretty bad for the Spurs because their front line was huge.

You can't be a basketball fan and not enjoy watching players like Bryant, James, Wade, at least in their primes (obviously Bryant and Wade are painful to watch now though after injuries have decimated their careers). I even loved watching Stockton and Malone even though I wouldn't hesitate to push them off a cliff. The only real star I never enjoyed watching much was Derrick Rose.

Agreed. Snitch definitely should have won in during the 05-06 year.

The Shaq one is tough to call though. Shaq, Nash (who won), and Dirk all had great years...
